After travelling from Brisbane specifically for this audition, I expected a professional, customer-focused experience comparing the equipment I'd come to hear. That's not what happened.
The original EL34 units weren't made available, and a home demonstration - standard practice among reputable dealers worldwide - was never offered.
I can't recommend this dealer to anyone who values a thorough, objective audition before a major purchase.

I bought a replacement belt for my Michell Gyro SE turntable. It arrived in a tiny plastic bag, maybe 120 x 85 x 2 mm in dimensions, packed in a much larger bag, sent parcel post which cost me $15.00. What a ripoff. It could have been sent in a DL size envelope with the envelope, postage and tracking costing just $5.40 with Australia Post. Will I purchase anything from Sydneyhificastlehill again? No!!
