Worst bank I have.

Have a Venmo card through them and processing time are extremely exaggerated with clearing times of 14 days. Their world premier card is slightly better but not by much. Their Amazon card is the only useful product.

I have tried 3 separate time to make…

I have tried 3 separate time to make payment on my Care credit credit card for medical use currently it has been over a week and a half since payment was scheduled and still no resolution of the amount from my bank account.

This bank has no decency......

My husband passed away January 2024 and he had a credit card connected to this bank in his name only. There is no estate. My attorney who made up our wills told me there is nothing to do. I advised this bank at least three times now of my husband's passing. They keep hounding me. The lastest idiot rep asked me if we probated. What part don't they get there is nothing to probate. There is no estate. How stupid are they? More like this is about wearing me down, harassing me to death and thinking I will cave and pay his debt. After all this not on your life. This bank has no decency. They know as well as I do I am not responsible. Don't do business with them. They are not good people.

TJ Maxx Synchrony Bank Want Hornor 5 Tx points With $5K Purchase..

I have the TJ Maxx credit card for about 2 years or better. I also pay the entire balance off every month (just don't want to pay interest). My credit score is over a little over 800. I have informed my travel agent when I was booking the cruise that I might get flagged/declined transaction again because it happen yesterday in Lowe's for a charge of $438.73 on that TJ Maxx card. I called in & informed them that it was me & to please allow my charge to go thru and they did. The company or the bank periodly run a promotion which will give you 5 times in bonus points until April 30th. My cruise was over $5,000 and my limit is $9500 so please tell me why I needed to be verified AGAIN but this time they wanted me to take the 5 second video then take pictures of the front & back of my license which I tried to do but the scanning of the front & back of my license would not go thru. By the way, now they reported my card stolen!! Incredible but after going thru all this I am going to close my TJ Maxx account although I know my credit score is going to take a hit. Thanks for listening.

Not crooked but inept.

My mistake was thinking this was an honest business, being they do Amazon cards.

I made a 1K+ purchase to start bc I wanted interest free for this one purchase. Other purchases made later, I chose the 5% back. BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT HAPPENED. I've been charged interest since day one for everything. I chatted w/cust serv. who told me to send letter explaining. The reply had nothing to do with anything I said. They basically just gave me the bird (albeit, in round about way)

I should have watched them better, but I did think they had integrity. A mistake for sure. An expensive one, but I plan to discontinue their service (as soon as I can).

Vengeance is mine; I plan to broadcast far and wide, to anyone who will listen, not to do business with this less than honest bank. Perhaps the next bank to close..?

Update 16Apr24:

Final Update: This week I received a refund of the money in question. For this I will give one more star.
I think they are just incompetent, not overtly crooks, but they could have saved us both from this unpleasantness and saved me as a client by being more responsive to customers and updating their useless website to include and explain all details.
Summery: They didn't ask me to stay and I closed my account bc I don't want to trade with a biz that does biz like this. They no longer owe me anything and I no longer owe them anything. Moving on.

Part 2 Flexshppper and Mavis Tires…

Made a lease purchase thru Syncrony Bank/Flexahopper at Mavis Tire im Lubbock Texas.

Flexshopper states they asked Mavis for a price adjustment, The adjustment never happened. Neither company will step up for the adjustment that didn't happen.

Thus causing an additional 52 week lease extension.
The good news is Mavis maybe willing to work towards an adjustment.
As for Syncrony Bank/.Flexshopper they stink. Do not participate in their scheme. If the lease is not paid within the designated timeframe you.will be.paying the weekly amount for 50 some odd weeks.
Also Mavis Tires did not offer to give the printed lease agreement as the time of lease

Flexshopper also failed to change my weekly payments to bi-weekly.

I am going to issue a atop payment and may file a small claims against them.

"Please see the BBB complaints against Flexshopper."

I am going to Contact Mavis and see how it goes.

WARNING
Do not get a credit card/line of credit/loan/or any account from Synchrony. Synchrony will sell your account to a debt collector agency illegally; if any payment for a credit card/line of credit is made to them, they keep and apply the payment to your account... This means you are, and they are, in the agreement of the payment regardless of whether it is past due and amount is no longer past due with any and each payment made and received and agreed upon by them. Also, if you miss one payment and do not pay in full on the next billing cycle, they keep adding late fees...illegally. they can only add one late fee per each late payment, or as stated above. Don't get Synchrony and/or cancel your Synchrony. Go with another bank/credit card/etc... You will always need a lawyer to do any business with this company. Having a Lawyer on retainer will be very smart. I didn't and a law firm perjured themselves in court and didn't provide proof. And the judges will side with them instead of you. State judges handle most, and even the judges will break the laws of the state (first laws to obey/enforce) and federal law (they also must apply, especially when federal law is brought up; federal law overrules state laws pertaining to payments being made). I was raised in the government life, I know this. This judge will not be re-elected and has been reported to the Judicial Misconduct Committee, for allowing perjury and misrepresentation of his person and breaking federal laws that he must follow when it is apparent. In my case, it was very apparent.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS OF ANY KIND WITH THIS COMPANY. R U N!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Syncrony Bank Sams Club Mastercard has…

Syncrony Bank Sams Club Mastercard has horrible automated customer service telephone. Then once you get past that you have to speak to overseas customer service in the Philippines. They want to to take video/photo of yourself with your drivers license to verify who you are. With identity theft runnning rampant and systems being hacked, I will not give a company that info to be stolen by hackers. They’re overall customer service line help is terrible.

RETALIATION

RETALIATION. I filed a complaint with the BBB regarding one of my Syncrony Bank Credit cards that I had been trying for months to get resolved with them directly. Two days later syncrony bank closed all 3 of my credit card accounts that I had with them. All of the accounts had zero balances, they were all over 2 years old and all together they came to over $8,000 in open credit. My credit score today is 80 points higher than when these cards were opened, I've never had 1 late payment on any of my credit cards EVER in my life. My credit report credit card utilization is 18% and my credit score is great. I am aware that it is totally on their discretion to give credit to whomever they please but this is total unmitigated harassment and retaliation. Removing this amount of open credit from my credit profile is going to plummet my credit score. I will be reporting this to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Run from this Bank!
They lost 250k of my money and with all the bank routing information they couldn't identify where the funds went.
Off shore operator had a rooster cackling in the background during phone conversation.
No direct communication.
Had my money for Ten days and would not return it because they couldn't account for it.
A nightmare!!!

I assured them I would protest with a sign at their corporate headquarters if I didn't get my money. Then they got serious.

I WOULD AVOID THEM TOTALLY!!!

I have several accounts with…

I have several accounts with Syncronybank. They literally have their hands on every on line company, Amazon, E bay, PayPal, Discount Tires, Cabella's, JCPenney, Old Navy, everything!! Look at the fine print and you will find their name in the application. So far they have closed three of my accounts even though they had zero balances and I have all of my accounts on auto pay. I have never once been late. Their reason was that I had some high balances, so I am being punished for using my credit? Now I avoid applying to any card that has their name, so the businesses that use their bank are all losing my business.

When a company play you wrong and don’t care.

I never had a real problem with them until the day I found they have decreased my line of credit making my credit score go down by 30 point. How they did this? By decreasing the line the credit utilization goes up and impact your credit negative. After 5 years with them payments on time and never missed one they don’t care, they will answer you we don’t look at that. I understand is a business but why you want to affect your good customers. They work with multiple furniture companies, dental, veterinary, ophthalmologist and more be careful they will get you one way or an other. Is true this company have the worst customer service, they can’t express what they think because they might loss their job but you can tell by the tone of the voice how they might feel as well. When a company do really wrong to a client like this, not a high balance, payment on time is not fair. For you to have an idea account line for 5 years $2,400; balance in the account $944 is around 35% to 40% of credit utilization is not bad. They decreased the line balance to $1200, for no reason they decided causing the credit utilization go up to 80%, this affect negatively my credit score. Company like this does not deserve to be promoted or use all they care is the money.

Today I discovered since I paid my…

Today I discovered since I paid my account on the first, a late fee has been accessed to my account. This paperless statements is beneficial to the company. The Holy Spirit had me to log in my account instead of the telephone and I could not believe my eyes of late payment. View companies policies. I am paying them out and closing the account. I thought I was avoiding interest and paying my account early, I was wrong.
