Thanks for the prompt service and effective communication from the service team. Van runs better, and reassured for the next 12 months

I self recovered my van after a breakdown. The team there worked hard to fit it in and sort me out with a courtesy vehicle.
All in, 3 faults were fixed within the week.

Disappointingly left with more fault codes than when attended. Fault investigation of the radio head, stated there was a VW software update, but left with radio not with current software. Battery fault refered to large draw from dash camera that wasn’t even connected. So not impressed as appeared only to do the minimum and not willing a longer investigation without booking another appointment.

Despite best effort of the lovely helpful Kim my service was a disaster ! I had purchased my caddy new as an ex demonstration vehicle and requested some modifications like a reversing camera the wrong one was ordered and couldn’t be fitted by the team so it went to a local garage . On receipt the parking sensors were very quiet and the wiper blades extremely noisy it was returned sensors sorted wipers not ! A few weeks later I had to return the van as the wipers had stopped mid sweep and were still noisy , wipers fixed still noisy I asked about a service plan and was told no problem bring it in on first service and you can sort it . First service last week and for some reason the service plan computer was not displaying a price so yet to pay . Previously I’ve had a full report even a video of the inspection stating brake wear and tyre depth not this time just a single piece of paper stating previous history and oil change service completed ! Oh and the wipers still noisy so disillusioned with VW engineers I took the van to Halfords and they said there was little or no rubber on the blade rare for a year old vehicle with only 6000 miles it looks like some one has taken your blades and replaced them with their worn ones - why your technicians couldn’t have spotted this on the three times in had been under their scrutiny? Hence the poor review I still haven’t been contacted on a price for my service plan appalling service and treatment really from the day I bought the Caddy !

Paid £441.77 for pre MOT VW variable service on 4th Sept 2025, with expectation that MOT would follow.
Feedback from vehicle inspection noted there was a cosmetic abrasion to one tyre, tread on all tyres was good and that EML on dash was amber.
Engineer carried out diagnostic check, cleared EML, but feared the EML fault would re-occur during MOT test causing instant failure.
Customer was informed of dilemma, and advised best course of action was to replace the whole DP Filter & EGR Valve system. Estimated cost at Nth Wales VW = £1,500.
I decided to seek another opinion.
The EML returned within 24hrs, so the vehicle was checked by an approved MOT centre who re-calibrated the EGR and cleared the EML fault.
The vehicle then went for MOT but failed due to 2 wheel bolts and a locking bolt ( 3 wheel bolts!) being missing from one front wheel.
I returned to Nth Wales VW service dept who refused to accept any responsibility for either misplacing the wheel bolts during their inspection or offering misleading advice.

Unbelievable, I couldn't make this up!
I ordered my new vehicle way back in March 2024 and was told to expect delivery on October 24. After long delays I finally took delivery of my new vehicle last week April 2025 and it's not what I ordered, an error was made when ordering by The Point in Llandudno. I've now been told that if I reject the wrong vehicle I will now have to wait till September 2025 and it will cost me more than they originally quoted because it's taken so long!!!! 😔

22 August 2024, Christopher Jones, Manager Workshop Control at Llandudno Junction – my knight in shining armour! I drove to Rhyl from London in a newly purchased second hand Skoda Yeti and during the journey it was obvious that there was a problem with the gear box. Point Garage in Llandudno Junction, the official Skoda dealer in the area, had no availability to look at the car until 29th August and I urgently needed an independent review from a recognised garage to understand what sort of problem I was dealing with. In desperation, I decided to go to the garage in person and ask to speak to one of the mechanics and was attended by Christopher Jones who was so kind and helpful. After explaining the symptoms on the car he gave me a complete breakdown of the potential issues and advised me what documents to ask for from the dealer where I purchased the car. After a most frustrating day Christopher’s help and advice gave me peace of mind and the confidence to address the problems with the car. Just when I was at my wit’s end with the situation, not knowing where to turn, Christopher saved the day. It was the end of his working day but, he took the time to talk to me and patiently listened to all my questions offering excellent information and advice. It is rare these days to find such excellent customer service and kindness when there is no financial gain for the company. Christopher, I can’t thank you enough – you rescued a damsel in distress with your kindness and professionalism.
