Friendly staff & delicious Welsh cakes
Friendly staff offering plenty of cappuccinos and Welsh cakes before a giving very comprehensive overview of the car's features. Nothing was too much trouble and we could have kept firing questions all day but had to get back on the road to the Midlands. Thanks.
Professional and efficient
Leon Jenkins was friendly, professional, informative and kept me updated throughout the process. Kept to time on pick up day and was meticulous in ensuring that I had all the information I needed prior to driving away. There was no feeling of being rushed so I felt very comfortable and confident leaving the dealership. Follow up call the next day was a lovely touch. Felt valued as a customer.
Not impressed
Not impressed. Booked a check of charging issue messages in my mini EV. I have an extended warranty, and when I booked nothing was said about paying for any diagnostics. Really worried my EV would no longer charge so got an appointment asap. An hours drive to the showroom and only had about 50% charge left when I arrived. Took the whole day off as they couldn't give me a slot.
When I arrived they said I might have to pay for the diagnostics if the fault found was not under warranty. If I had know this I would have paid an electrician at home to do some preliminary diagnostics. However, given that I was there, with the day off, and possibly not enough charge to get home if the issue persisted, I had no choice but to agree.
Now I am being charged £120 as it was apparently the charger that was at fault. An electrician could have found this at home, and I would have paid for this first had I been told about the possible costs.
Under the Consumer Act 2015 they should have made diagnostic costs clear when I booked. Not when I arrived at the showroom with a battery half full and not sure if I could even charge it enough to get home.
Asked for an external independent resolution. They looked nonplussed, not sure if they provide this.
What a hassle. Why were they not clear when I booked. What a waste of time and money.

Super-helpful and friendly service from Tara - taken for a test drive on first appointment - several times around neighbouring carpark (shown various features such as self-parking) before heading onto the road. A further practice drive on picking up the car.

Personally I have always had the best team handling my business. Tara on the first instance is nothing short of A star class professional. She has always been my go to person and my circumstances of late have been complicated and Tara with all of her compassion and patience has been brilliant John is also nothing short of A star class. As a business manager he has been fantastic. Today he was so caring and compassionate I honestly could not have wished for a better experience. Thank you both. First class service from the mini sales at Syntner
The service level and negotiations was never pushy when buying the recent mini countryman. Graham Dawson drove the car from Swansea to Warwickshire and from first meeting him he was bubbly, charming, knowledgeable and spent several hours going through and helping my husband and I set up personal information. He is a wonderful representative of Syntner and deserves recognition. After sales, the same helpful and charming person.

been dealt with twice now by tara at sytner due to me putting in an order for the mini cooper under the motorbility scheme.the first time i had all my children with me and my oldest (son) has autism so i had to warn her due to him not having any patience to wait around and that he didnt like being round people he didnt know and was at risk of me leaving early if he was to have a meltdown (which happens most times) but not once did he kick off and not once did he have a moan and i think it was due to her having a calming demeanour , answered every question we had and also felt she didnt leave anything out either and i think he felt safe enough to stay there as shes didnt seem to have a cocky attitude like most sales dealerships have (we've been to a few) and she made time for us and understood abit about his condition after me explaining bout him while we were there.not many people do that and the second time we was there to complete the order and get the ball rolling he asked before if it was still the same person as before as he liked the way she talked and she seemed lovely.she is absolutely brilliant at her job such a calmness and patience shes got that made us all feel like we could talk or ask her about anything with this car we were ordering and customer service skills were on point.its refreshing to be able to feel at ease and not judged and she done it all.absolutely fab employee.the whole dealership was such a calm and got a safe feel to it.lovely place to order a car , 10/10 🫶🏼
