While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Discount reductions
Please explain why in last month discounts in Bournemouth have seen reductions of 30% off total bill to now 20% off food and 241 now 20% off at several restaurants?
Be really careful
Be really careful - I used them once, then the next time I was looking, pressed a button (assuming that I would go through to a payment page with a total and a choice of payment methods for me to agree) and the booking was 'confirmed' - no total amount given and no idea which account it has gone out of, plus wasn't ready to make that decision, so I have now paid an unknown amount from an unknown source to book a restaurant I don't want to go to. I emailed them (no contact number available) and have heard nothing back. Tricksters.
Be careful to cancel annual membership before it renews!
I bought membership a year ago for £25. It automatically renewed after a year, for £50! I emailed a day after it had renewed asking for it to be cancelled and a refund but was told I was too late. It might be technically my fault but that's awful service and not the way to get more customers
A Good Idea, But Not Well Managed
The idea is you book a restaurant through TablePouncer, pay a booking fee and get discounted meal. Unfortunately they take no responsibility for ensuring that the restaurants are still in business. In the last year I have booked one restaurant which had changed ownership and had no arrangement with TablePouncer, another which, when I arrived was unable to provide food and most recently on a day trip to London, the lunch venue I had booked must have ceased trading months ago as the site had been redeveloped. TablePouncer responded to my complaint with vague assurances, but several weeks later the defunct cafe in London was still live and could be booked through their website.
