Disappointing interview

They interviewed me for a job opening and after telling them my expected salary, they just ended the interview and told me that they would call me should I pass the interview. Right there, I know I did not. What disappointed me was they did not even get to know me from the credentials and my skills and what I could bring to the company. They did not even try to negotiate my expected salary or just tell me truthfully that they couldn't afford it.
