Placed an order with this company…

Placed an order with this company tantronics on 19/01/2020 for 4x JVC camcorder rechargeable batteries.
I have used this company is the past with no ploblems.
One month almost on and still no goods delivered in the post
Website tantronics is forbidden 404 you don't have permission? Is the website blocked.
Endless attempts made by emails and calls on 0161 427 1100
With message saying sorry it is not possible to take your call
Please try later?
Escalation to PayPal for full refund my advice is avoid this company at all costs you don't receive the goods when you place your orders.

Have used them in the past with no…

Have used them in the past with no problems, but I placed an order for an "in stock" charger a week ago (their website clearly states in stock items ordered before 2pm are despatched the same day).

No indication that this has been posted yet, and their landline phone number is just diverting to an EE mobile answerphone.

No response to my email questioning delivery and no returned phone calls to date.

Follow Up:
Never did receive any form of response, nor could Paypal get a response. I have now received a refund via Paypal

I purchased an item from them on eBay …

I purchased an item from them on eBay which was faulty on arrival.

The suggestion was made that it was 'user error' and I was asked to call the manufacturer. This I did and they confirmed the product was faulty.

(It was a tyre pressure gauge that wouldn't power on - hardly technically challenging. Even I can press an ON button!)

Tantronics agreed to send a replacement and refund the return postage. Much later after some correspondence I was told no replacement was to be sent and no further response came to my request for a full refund. My emails were ignored.

I was left to sort it out by filing a complaint with eBay. This took many emails and two phone calls. And I haven't been refunded the return postage cost.

Customer service? What customer service!

Abysmal.

This was my first order from …

This was my first order from Tantronics. Ordering was straightforward and my item was dispatched the following day. Two days later it was on the doormat. Perfect. The price was also great, beating other major online retailers. What impressed me was quite a small thing: I'd ordered some re-chargeable batteries and Tantronics included a helpful leaflet of their own. It gave guidance on the best way to charge and store batteries, particularly when new, to extend their life. Nice touch.

This is a company I'm sure I'll be using again.

GREAT SERVICE EVEN WHEN THERES A PROBLEM

Purchased a charger from Tantronics, which expired after 7 months, conracted them and returned item for them to inspect, they then contacted me offering a full refund or replacement item, the item i chose seems great and i will review that when i recieve it.
But the help and service from David at Tantronics has been first class. Would recommend them to everyone.

Super Knowledgeable friendly family business

I've ordered several times from David & Janet and each time has been a pleasure. David has even taken the time to answer technical questions above and beyond what is required to ensure I bought exactly what I needed.

In the odd time that I have returned goods under warranty (they have a longer warranty than other retailers) it has been a quick and easy process.

This is a business that I keep recommending again and again!

1st order went very well - 2nd order even better- ordered Friday am , added more items Fri pm and still arrived Mon am!

I've been buying online for some years, and, like in the High St, there are some good retailers and online there are some very good "etailers" , I have found Tantronics to be very efficient in the sales and delivery process but also very helpful and knowledgeable, they are easily contactable and are very courteous.
Now if I need rechargeables, chargers or accesories I always look on their site first.

poor

i personally feel , this is a company that people should be careful when using, I purchased a expensive torch which only used rechargeable batteries.
I ordered the batteries from tantronics. They cancelled my payment , I have had to wait nearly a week to get my money back.
Thus I am sitting with a very expensive torch with no batteries.
I made a complaint to them, pointing this fact out only for it not to be published ( so it seems they only publish good comments ) not the ones that point out they are wrong.bad bad bad

We take customer comments and feedback very seriously, and do everything we can to exceed the service levels offered by many other companies.

If we make a mistake we admit it, apologise and make things right, but with this customer it simply isn’t the case.

When this customer ordered they used someone else’s Debit Card and gave an address that was not related to the Debit Card used. This became apparent when we came to process the order so we cancelled the payment and contacted the customer to get further details.

Our duty of care has to be, first and foremost, to the Card Holder, but this customer took offence to this and, after 3 unpleasant and upsetting telephone conversations with our staff, wrote these comments.

This customer also seems to be exaggerating the time frame; He placed his order at around lunch time on Friday left feedback directly on our site at 17:52 the same day stating he had been waiting “some days”. As can be seen from his comments here he states he “had to wait nearly a week” yet he left this feedback on Monday, which I think most would agree couldn’t be classed as “nearly a week”.

It is sad that this customer was so upset that he felt the need to “talk” to our staff the way he did and to give the inaccurate and incomplete feedback shown here.

We hope other customers, old and new, can see from the otherwise overwhelmingly good feedback, just how important good products, customer care and support are to us.

Customer Service

I had a manufacturer's problem with a tripod, which was a Christmas Present. I got onto Tantronics as soon as they opened, and the damaged part was replaced in 2 days. Initial Disappointment quickly forgotten. Excellent service.

Fantastic service and excellent communication.

I don’t always bother to leave comments but their service and communication is excellant. It might have only been a couple of wrist straps on this occasion but they will be the first place I’ll look in future for my photographic and battery requirements. Frank

Fast

Fast delivery with 1st class post option - low postage charge.
Good communications - emails with an apparent personal touch acknowledging order and advising of dispatch.

I am very pleased of the service from this company,they spoke friendly over the phone,and dealt with my order quickly,customer service is brilliant,i ve told my friends about tantronics,to buy replacement batteries from here.
