Great Experience
We had an amazing experience with Tapouts. My daughter did weekly sessions for over two years. She truly loved her connection with her primary coach, Coach Jenny. We recently stopped sessions due to scheduling conflicts and even that was simple. Whenever I had questions, the Tapouts team responded quickly.
I would not hesitate to recommend to any parent to give their children some great tools for handling big emotions.
My daughter LOVES her tap out sessions
My daughter LOVES her tap out sessions. She gets to connect with kids her own age and relate to others. She never misses an appointment and always comes back to me with what she learned! She LOVE Coach Kim!

The meetings helped my kid get over his anxiety and taught him about emotions, goals, and problem solving.
Recommended by speech therapist
My daughter's speech therapist recommended tapouts and we decided to try it. I love hearing my daughter speak up--something she doesn't love doing in person--and giving her own insights on what they've learned. Thanks for helping my daughter come out of her shell.
Fabulous!
I wish all kids had the opportunity to participate in Tapouts! These are skills that kids need that help them thrive. We are so grateful for this program and everything it teaches her! Love the relationships she's built especially with her leader.
The entire experience was great!
The entire experience was great from start to finish. They are kind understanding and if it weren’t for financial reasons my son would still be in the program it made a real positive impact on my child. I have recommended time and time again even suggested them to the local psych clinic in my town!!!!
Tapouts is amazing!
We loved tapouts! My sons were in it from middle of summer 2023 to end of January 2026, or grades beginning 5th to middle 9th. We pit them in to learn skills and coping with others from moving areas at first and growing up in preteen and teen ages, but then they would learn setting goals, stress levels and how to cope, and much more. They loved their coaches, Kelli and Raul, and will miss them. But we recommend tapouts to others! It is worth the investment either short or long term.
My experience
Tapouts did well ,actually it did the best job at socializing me with my peers in the pod. I remember in the year 2024, I was so shy in fact I rarely even said a word or showed my face but coach Kristen encouraged me to talk and so in the year 2025 I was very confident because of tapouts and shout-out to coach Jenny Kay .
We love Tapouts
We love Tapouts! My daughter was burnt out from traditional counseling, and Tapouts bridged an important gap for her. She felt empowered by the things she was learning, she felt supported by her coach and fellow group-mates, and she has been encouraged to use the skills she has learned when she encounters tough days.
Slow and steady wins the race
As with most things, results take time. My daughter has been with her pod for about 9 months now, and I see her applying the things she's learned in some situations. I'm glad she's learning these tools and concepts, because I know they will be helpful to her as she's growing up. This is more of a self-help tool, and it is not a replacement for therapy. My daughter enjoys her weekly meetings and always looks forward to sharing with the group.

This is one of the best programs I could have ever found for my son. He was able to learn coping skills and the small groups allowed the information to come from other students his age. I have seen him grow in ways that I can't explain and even has been able to help his younger brother handle stress, anger and other things out of his control. Thank you!
Trusted, real, and worthwhile of my support!
My son has been meeting weekly with his peer group for a year, and I am so grateful to Tapouts and all the group leaders! My son was in a very bad place after being bullied in his 6th grade class. I had to pull him from school and lost access to his social worker. We tried in person therapy with no success. When we decided to try Tapouts, it was a hail mary. He took a couple weeks to warm up to it and get used to the routine of contributing in the group discussions but his leader was very compassionate, sincere and encouraging. His social anxiety and depression has greatly improved, and he is much more independent. I advocate for all the skills they teach in their sessions and highly recommend this easy to access resource for adolescents!
Real Help
Because of Tapouts, my son has tools to navigate hard situations to include struggles within. He loves being a part of his pod and practicing new skills at school with his friends. This is one of the greatest investments my family has made into my son's mental health with real, actionable skills. Thank you
My 10 year old LOVES IT!
My 10 year old has been doing tapouts for a couple years and she loves it! She hates to miss class. We've definitely seen an improvement in her frustration. Earning prizes is just the cherry on top!!
We love tapouts
We love tapouts! My daughter looks forward to her sessions each week. She also loves that she gets rewards like surprise boxes full of fidget type toys or Amazon giftcards for participating. However that’s not the only reason she enjoys attending. She has learned useful tools for everyday life and has applied them without feeling like she is alone in what she is dealing with.
Great program
Great program. My son loved it. Unfortunately, it the cross hairs of a divorce and schedule frequently changing, I needed to pause but plan to resume once things settle.

Classes seem okay. Terrible company & misleading financial policies
The classes itself seem good. But they really don’t give anyone much time to cancel. The trial is not a trial class, it is a do the class and we bill you after unless you cancel class. At first I thought okay we will try it. But then life happened - my mom went into hospital, a cross country move happened, meaning an entire month of classes went unused after the trial, and their support was unable to offer any help other then telling me how I can cancel further classes by logging in.
There is no onboarding process, nobody asks you how you liked it, and they don’t bother to tell you a tablet is not going to be helpful for this class.
I don’t think companies like this should be supported by anyone. It encourages misleading billing and poor customer support policies.
Please consider canceling or not signing up to begin with.

Bad for self-esteem and socialization
My child’s experience was absolutely awful. We did the free trial session and my son was depressed afterwards. They focused on a lot of negative things and had the kids share negatives and fears about themselves with a group of peers they had never met before. That doesn’t seem like a healthy practice to me and my son felt like garbage about himself after the session.
They did an activity where they write down their doubts about themselves on paper and then crinkle it up and throw it across the room, which works for highly emotional types but since my son is mostly a logical type thinker it didn’t do him any good, he just felt he was throwing paper, not “throwing away bad feelings.” It would have been nice for them to get to know his emotional processing style before choosing activities.
My son got just a few words in the whole session. We tried Tapouts for better social interaction training and we left the free trial with new issues instead of any resolution. If I knew what to expect from it, I never would have.
