I had my doubts about this product at first but decided to go ahead and buy. Well I was wrong to be doubtful. Tapplock is such an easy way to secure your belongings. I’ve had 0 issues with it. Makes life that much simpler! I would recommend to anyone!

Easy to setup and use, no need to remember combination or keep key handy. Very good for workout locker.

We ordered a lock from Tapplock. It says the charge will last 3 months. Do not believe it. The lock suddenly went dark after a month, and we had to use bolt cutters to get it off. They would not give us our money back, and said it was not their policy to refund opened merchandise. They are sending a 'new', but if you are running a business, and cannot get into the locked space what use is it? We can never trust it.

My reply to Tapplock:

Whatever your policy is about opened products is one thing, but a defective product should be able to be returned for credit. How would anyone know something is defective until it is opened? Your policy is insulting.

Your ’new’ lock is coming, but be assured we will not use it. We are going to try to sell it because we cannot trust your product with our business. We stand behind our products, and our customers expect us to be there when we tell them. We lost time and money getting to somewhere where we had to cut the lock off our trailer. I told your customer service lady that we were going to post our experience, and I will make sure any site available to post will hear about the problems with your firm, and she did not seem to care about anything I had to say on social media.

If I save one person from the experience we had, it will be worth it.

I purchased 2 Tapplocks to use on front and back gates. I followed all instructions, set them up easily and they both promptly failed such that I had to use a grinder to cut them off. Customer support was efficient and helpful. They promptly sent me two more locks. So far one has completely failed again. One is still working. I’m not even going to bother contacting them again as I’m tired of cutting locks off. They are currently working on problems and have a new version on the horizon .

Update 7/17/18 Tapplock reached out and is going to send me another replacement to try. Their customer support is really great and easy to work with. I’ll update once I have any new experience to share.

Fingerprint Sensor works great! Easy to use. This is my go-to lock.

I bought the Tapplock around 2 months ago. It is easy to setup with your phone. It feels very solid. Battery life is excellent. Like with many fingerprint readers they won't recognize your fingers well when wet or humid. Luckily you can use a Morse code to unlock in the few cases this should happen.

My Tapplock is easy to program and easy to use. I use the lock at the gym every day and I like it so much that I bought a second one and gave it to a friend as a gift. I charged the battery when I first got it and the battery lasts a very long time. It’s exactly as advertised.

Love this Lock!

I've been going to the gym without a lock for years. I've never liked the combination locks (I forget the combo) and when working out, I would never have anywhere convenient to put a key for a key lock. This thing solved all of those problems as there is no key and there is no combination. Set up was a breeze (I'm not good with technology) and I haven't had any problems since set up. Great product!

I love this product, i bought it for ship use and it has delivered. Easy to open when no light is present.

Tapplock is the best lock I have ever owned it works great indoors and out the battery seems to last forever no more keys or codes to work with forget or lose I will be ordering many more to use and give away as gifts

This is a product that I've been waiting on for quite some time, and it was well worth the wait. It is quick, secure and extremely well built. I highly recommend it and have even suggested it to a few folks in the security industry for replacing the more traditional pad locks with combinations.

Hands down the most convenient lock that has been made. Quick access to anything you need secured doesnt need any explaining besides, "Im glad i had a tapplock on it". There is nothing to worry about if you run to your gun safe with a tapplock. There is no hassle of needing or forgetting a key. There is no confusing lock combination such a vault safe. I already put a hammer to it twice.. Its very safe and secure but most of all fast and convenient tonuse

I love them both. I use them in locker rooms so I have less numbers to remember. The battery life is excellent. Over 7 months so far.

INGENIOUS INVENTION!! WORKS LIKE A CHARM. I USE IT AT THE GYM. LONG BATTERY LIFE.

The Bluetooth disconnects when I am 2 or more feet away from the lock, don't know why, but it does. If that is on purpose, what is the purpose of the remote unlock option?
When I am away from the lock and I need it to open, how would it work if it is not Bluetooth connected. And I only can connect it by pressing the button. if someone presses the button, it is still not connecting if my phone is not nearby.
In my definition this is NOT remote Controlled

The Morse Code option does not work, I never get a green steady light when trying to set it up,

The company does not provide a phone # for support. Email is not sufficient. I am not happy so far

When I had a problem with the setup. I emailed Tapplock and they fixed the issue right away. I have been using the lock on a door which 3 people need to have access, it's so easy and convenient to give access and then remove it. It truly does open in just seconds

Love my Tapplocks which I use for my rear shed and the gym. So much easier then a traditional lock and key or a combonation lock.
