I'm writing this with NO disrespect or anger towards the gentleman, Hassan, who did my haircut today at Cabot Place but I don't think he did a good job. He didn't do the haircut I asked for, even though one of his colleagues, Boby, explained him in his own language what I wanted since I always specifically asked for him, and even though I told to Hassan I had a date and it was important to look in a certain way. His work looked messy and in a hurry.
The towel he put on my face was lukewarm and the one he put on my body left on my black polo shirt white particles, not reflecting with the high standards I always appreciated and loved about this barber shop.
His massage was good but unfortunately that's the only appreciation I can give to his performance.
Overall I hope to be reached back since I hope it's gonna be the first and last time I receive this kind of service.
-Marangon Francesco.

Have been coming to this branch for a while and would usually have a good experience until the most recent visit. The hair was cut too short and the whole experience felt very rushed; no shampoo or conditioner were used (never happened before). Contacted customer service and they offered 50% of next visit as a compensation. A visit that is extremely unlikely to happen after such experience.
VIP Experience - Mortimer
I booked this experience for £118. I have never in my life spent so much money on a haircut or shave, I usually go to my local turkish barber and get it done for £30. But it was my 50th birthday, we were going to London to celebrate and I really wanted to spoil myself. I watched the video describing the experience and I thought yeah, I deserve that, it looked really good. I arrived at the location which actually really easy to get too and I was a little early but popped in to see if i could wait inside. I was greeted by one of the team and taken downstairs and asked to wait. Fine by me I was early. I was offered a tea /coffee or water. The video i watched showed the person being given an alcoholic drink, but I was not offered that. I was approached by a lady offering to give me a manicure but it was not made clear if that was included in my experience or not (turns out not). The barber who provided the haircut and shave said about 2 sentences to me while I was in the chair after asking what i wanted although he continuously spoke to his colleagues and I got the distinct impression i was keeping him from him lunch! I was given a very half hearted arm massage and everything felt very underwhelming. The haricut was good but the experience left me very flat. What i had hoped to be a great start to my special day was a complete disappointment. The video of the experience is very misleading and what I got was not worth what I paid. Gutted really, I never give myself permission to just spoil myself like that, there is always something more practical I can think of putting the money towards so I feel really annoyed by this experience.

Moment of the week so far
I go for a haircut and beard trim at 9am. All was fine. I go to pay and I said what about the 20% discount morning shave. He told me it doesn’t apply because I got a haircut also.
I said next time I’ll shave in the morning and come back for a haircut in the afternoon. He said yes that would work sir.
I did not qualify for 20% discount as I had haircut and shave together.

He gave me a great hair cut I will be returning.
Great chat, very professional, happy with the outcome.

Experienced my first haircut at Teds Bloomsbury. Arin, the barber who cut my hair was excellent: professional, polite, friendly and very thorough. Best haircut I’ve had for a long time -just wish I lived in London but will definitely visit again when I’m next there. Thank you.

Second visit today for the VIP package at the salon in Mortimer Street, London. From an expert haircut, hot wax treatment, wet shave, beard trim and a sublime scalp massage the hour spent with Badr is one of the highlights of my month.
It’s a great atmosphere, drinks aplenty and a place that enables you just to switch off and be groomed to perfection. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Absolute cretins. I had a very long beard and the clown made it super short, awful fade barely existent. Looks more like a goatee. Went home and had a shave. Avoid!

I recently had the pleasure of getting a skin fade haircut by Ali at Covent Garden, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The attention to detail Ali demonstrated was truly incredible, resulting in the best skin fade I have ever had. Every step of the process was meticulously executed, showcasing his exceptional skill and precision.

I went to Teds grooming at 83 Mortimer St. My family had bought me a Father’s Day gift.
Can’t tell you how awful both the customer service and the quality of the experience was.
Family had purchased the VIP package
(The cut-smith)
1: no welcome on arrival
2: no consultation. Expert barber… absolute joke. Unable to offer any kind of consultation
3: no top shelf spirit or soft drink. Only water offered
2: limited English spoken by barber who was in charge of my experience
3: no beard trim
4: declined any of the other services as lack of confidence in the capability of the chap who was across me
You really do roll the dice with the different franchisees. Sure had I gone to a different branch the service and English language skills would have been better. Everyone talking in Turkish all the time which makes customers feel like they are being dissed and talked about. Sneaky giggling by immature young punks who only know how to use a clipper and can barely fade a customer
Don’t waste your money on these zone 1 rip off merchants. Better off spending you money on a cab to Palmers Green and getting the real authentic Turkish experience for half the price. AVOID!!
Has put me off anything Ted Baker for life!! The firm deserves to go under

Yusuf in the Borough Market store was extremely attentive and skilled to give that ultimate experience balanced with that right amount of chat and silence thank you very much

Mehmet Gumas at the Borough Market location was fantastic. He listened to what I wanted done and did a wonderful job!

I went to the Berrick Street Branch, it wasn’t a great experience. The whole thing reminded me of going to a local barber where I live (zone 4) in London any pay £14.
Terrible value for money.
I told the guy what I wanted and then said that I have a picture of the style I want, I tired to show it to him but he wasn’t interested! He said he didn’t need to see it as I verbally told him - I was shocked. He wasn’t very chatting or engaging.
I wasn’t offered a drink when other people around me were.
I wasn’t offered the ear flaming service.
I am now left with a haircut I don’t like, I clearly said that I want the front longer and then getting shorter towards the crown of my head, but now it’s the opposite of that.

Had my haircut from Berkan, first class cut, attentive and overall delivered a great experience. All round top man

I had my hair cut by Ali at the Regent Street branch. I went for The Cut-Smith package, and to be honest I felt short changed. The “consultation with Ted’s expert barber, followed by a bespoke haircut to your precise requirements” was the same 1 minute chat you get with a run of the mill barber at your local barber shop. As for “precise requirements”, Ali was pretty uncommunicative, and didn’t ask any clarifying questions or any detail beyond “what do you want done”. I ended up with a very average, generic haircut that I could get anywhere. The “exfoliating face wash and scrub” was a 30 second rub with some cleansing gel, there was no exfoliation done at all. The “arms and shoulders massage” didn’t include the shoulders, and the arms were a very token, weak effort.
As for general customer service, it was amongst the worst I’ve had. Ali didn’t really seem engaged or to care about what he was doing - he seemed more interested in the female member of staff working next to me. He forgot that he’d already done the ear-flaming and asked this again, which really sums up the level of care and attention.
Overall very disappointed with the service, not worth the money in my opinion as I’ve had better haircuts and service for half the price.

Mehmet Gumus at London Bridge went above and beyond to give me the best haircut I’ve had in a long time. He listened to my requests, paid great attention to detail and I left feeling fresh and very happy with his work. Nice fella as well.

I had a haircut 2 days ago at the Berwick Street Branch. I had high expectations knowing that it is a relatively expensive place in the heart of Soho.
I had shown the picture to the hairdresser the way i wanted to have my haircut.
The guy had made a horrible haircut, he saved the side of my head with zero, went up high at the back also. No blending whatsoever, looks like a cheap gangster style. I came in wearing a nice blazer, very elegant look. The Barber cleary has no sense on identifying the profile of the client and what they want. So I what i got is a Military haircut for 45£ plus i gave him some tip…. I know the name of the barber also but i will not put him into shame here but will never return to this place.
