Tefal turbopro anti-calc iron +
Tefal turbopro anti-calc iron +
This is the worst iron I have ever owned and it’s purely down to the extremely short cable. I’m struggling to iron my clothes without running over the cable, as it is pulling tight when ironing trousers etc. a huge design flaw that has ruined a fabulous iron!
The iron itself is lightweight and lovely to use, but I would not recommend it, solely on the cable length, which makes it really difficult to use and to be honest, I think it’s dangerous and should never have passed a safety inspection.

No Steam after 20 minutes of ownership
This very expensive iron arrived on Saturday and after 20 minutes of actually great ironing the steam function just stopped working. Have left for hours hoping it would reset but not. Have contacted customer care who where very polite however have to wait for it to be collected and then even longer for a new one to be sent. This is not good customer service and worried that the replacement will be equally bad.The very polite customer care agent did not seem at all suprised at the demise of steam functionality which is also a worry
I didn't like the phone call service at…
I didn't like the phone call service at all. I called on Friday to return the item , the customer care guy told that. Would be ok to pick up the item on Tuesday , because I explained that item box was fine and I just didn't had the picture on Friday 😞. Called on Monday just in case the pick up is on Tuesday. Lady over phone already with very rude Tone explained me that is not possible for collection 48h , but like I explained my situation over phone that Friday customer care guy told me it would be possible. Lady didn't want listen 👂🏻 to me at all even I explained whole thing , I never had such misleading customer service at this point she was asking different date and I could feel the tension over phone when somebody doesn't want to listen to your opinion , it sad because with such attitude you will lose future customers. As I bought so many things from Tefal , after such attitude I am not willing spend my money . Customer care should be positive not angry in morning straight away. I can't believe it
Unsafe Product and Misleading Customer Service From Tefal
In September, I got a Tefal hot water dispenser (model BR3508G0), which was new to the market. I believe this product is unsafe. Notably, during my complaint, this model was removed from the Tefal website and has never been relisted.
After around one month of use, I set the machine to dispense 350ml of water at 95°C. I briefly left the kitchen and returned to find the dispenser had failed to stop and was continuously pumping near-boiling water over the worktop and onto the floor. Fortunately, there were no children or pets present.
Despite acting quickly, damage was caused to the kitchen plinths and the side of the breakfast bar. I contacted Tefal immediately and the case was escalated to their claims department, who asked me to obtain prices for the damaged items and two repair quotes.
Throughout numerous calls and emails, Tefal never suggested user error. The dispenser was advertised as only being able to dispense specific quantities, and I had previously confirmed with both Amazon and Tefal that it could not dispense more than the selected amount.
Tefal collected the machine for inspection. When it was returned, I was told they could not replicate the fault and that I must have activated “manual mode.” This mode is poorly explained and was never mentioned by any Tefal representative during prior communications.
When Tefal returned the dispenser to me, the lid had been forced down, and the cannister arrived broken, we put this down to poor packing of the item but it was also damaged internally which could not have been done during transit, this damage made the machine unusable. A Tefal representative, Thabit, confirmed a replacement canister would be sent. Despite repeated requests, this has never arrived. I was given a DPD tracking number, but the dispatch company employed by Tefal later confirmed the parcel was never collected and the canister was supposedly awaiting dispatch in a manager’s office. Over a month later, nothing has been received.
Tefal have taken no responsibility for this product failure. While customer service initially appeared helpful, their engagement stopped once it became clear we would not accept being fobbed off. Given the safety incident and the product’s removal from Tefal’s website, I would strongly caution others against Tefal products.
turbo Cuisine electric pressure cooker.
I've got a turbo Cuisine electric pressure cooker, the results from it so far are excellent, however I've knocked a star off because even though it's new there is no recipe book with it, even though it says there is one on the box.
My second gripe is that it says remove any promotional stickers from the unit before use. Who ever decided that putting the QR code, to download the app, on the lid, should be made to remove them all from whatever is left in stock as punishment, the QR code should be on the box, this would serve two purposes, it would save the customer the hour or so needed to remove it from the lid, but more importantly customers could scan the code in the shop and discover just what a versatile piece of kit it is, which might persuade them they need one in their life.
Avoid if you value your wellbeing
Sayed at Tefal customer services was unwilling to remedy the fact that my Tefal saucepan's non-stick surface was disintegrating. He said 'as the Tefal manufacturer,' unless a customer has a receipt, it doesn't matter if the coating disintegrates. He was not interested in examining the saucepan after I had emailed Tefal UK photos of the dangers that it posed. I wouldn't touch Tefal again. This policy differs from that of other manufacturers if their non-stick surfaces peel (eg. Meyer).
Good fryer, poor control durability
The air fryer still works well after three years and cooks food properly, but the control panel hasn’t aged well. The lights on the dial (power, temperature, etc.) have faded or disappeared over time. It doesn’t affect how it works, but it does make the unit feel worn out earlier than it should.
It’s reliable for cooking, but the control design lets it down. For a heat-based appliance, I expected the controls to last better
Absolutely shockingly poor
Tefal dual air fryer, avoid this garbage overly complicated.
You can't just open and cook, setting time and temperature takes absolutely ages.
Tray 1 has to be programed which I accept but try and program try 2, non logical sequence takes ages press and hold several buttons takes another 5 minutes.
Please take my advise don't waste your money.
Not fit for purpose!
Faulty 2 month old product -No care to customers
My new steam generator iron faulted within a few weeks. It splutters water/ rusty water over clothes unexpectedly. Although this does not damage the clothes it is incredibly frustrating when you want to wear it and need to rewash. Customer service was good to start and collected the iron to investigate. I started emailing at the start of October (8 weeks anfter purchase) and sent it back. They still have it a confirmed it is faulty with new parts required.
I have emailed and spoken to many people and although I am advised they have had more that an acceptable amount of time to repair they cannot advise when it is two be returned and won’t give me a refund so I can purchase a new iron. They offered me up to 50% off a new iron from a link that showed irons priced more than 50% from their own online website. Said that’s just how it is. I asked if I would get a refund on my iron. They said no. So they keep it, and I have the option to buy a new one that costs more than their own website.
I have kids at school and having to borrow a neighbours iron to get uniforms done. I have been offered a basic iron until I get mine back which will be an unknown date. I bought a good iron I expect it to work.
I am entitled to a refund and customer services are now ignoring my emails and not updating me. Also still waiting on a call back from a senior manager.
Shameful that you treat customers like this
The WORST customer experience ever
I can't believe how a company with such great products can have such terrible customer service in their online store. Unfortunately I can't use the words I want to express my feelings about their customer service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
DISGUSTING COMPANY WITH AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE
Absolutely disgusting company.
They confirmed a package to be collected on Wednesday, nobody came, I took a full day off work for this collection and then called to find out where they are and they just told me they haven’t arranged it.
Their staff of from another country, untrained and do not know what the hell they are doing.
This cost me £120 loss of a days wage and they don’t give a damn because they don’t care about their customers, their customer service or their reviews online.
The company is a disgusting example of cheap customer care services passed onto third world countries for pennies
Disgusting

Blessed - the worst agent in customer service ever! the words simply cannot describe the incompetency of this agent - not only that he contradicts in information he doesn't answers the emails in days or months - it is just shocking how nobody in the management picks it up and investigate -!!!! RIDICULOS !!!!!!
SHOCKINGLY BAD COMPANY
Purchased a steam generator iron in June 2025. After a few uses it started cutting out and the water level warning light comes on even though the tank is full. After sending them videos of the problem occurring they arranged to have the iron taken away to be repaired. 2 weeks later it arrived back. When I plugged it in it was doing the same thing. I reported this to them and after weeks of me chasing them up for a response, and their operators saying they were escalating my issue, still didn't get a response. Eventually I got to speak to a supervisor, then the supervisors boss, I said I wanted to excersise my consumer rights of 2015 and wanted a replacement or a full refund. I was told they wanted the iron sent back again so they could confirm the fault and that they would revert back to me. Another 2 weeks later I recieve an email from their repair company saying that the machine needed parts and that they would be in touch when the parts were in. Tefal are now saying they couldn't find a fault but were ordering spare parts just in case. They must think I'm stupid. I have told them I just want a full refund. I will post the outcome of this sorry saga.
I have never experienced customer services as bad as what Tefal are dishing out. All the other reviews say it all. Don't know how this company is still trading. BUYER BEWARE COULD NEVER BE MORE RELEVANT.
Never ever again
My next order hasn't arrived, even though the tracking number says it's been delivered. This is the third time I've had a problem with a shipment. Avoid this company.
Poor customer service
My smart kettle Tefal, bought a year ago, started to malfunction. It turned on by itself or did not heat the water completely. Tefal customer service offered to repair the kettle and live without it for 15 days or just give a discount on another one, although I bought it from Argos and it has a 2-year warranty. I am very disappointed.
Poor Customer Service
Recently ordered the Ingenio pan set. Yodel lost my order. When I complained about the delay in delivery, Tefal asked to give more time to the delivery company to find it. Just under 3 weeks later I received my order. I should not have been made to wait while Yodel try to find the goods. The customer service should have immediately sent out a replacement. No compensation, just sorry for the inconvenience. I wrote a review for their website, giving my opinion of customer service and the pans. This review was rejected because it didn't fit the criteria. In other words they didn't like the bad review. Tefal are censoring their reviews. Quite a few reviews on trust pilot are having bad experiences with customer service. When buying products, it is not just the product that is under review, its the ease of fixing complaints should things go wrong.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
We purchased a Tefal 2 drawer air fryer and on first use it cracked our silestone worktop. Tefal refuse to give us a refund as it was over 6 months old, even though this was the first time we had used it. They say they have looked at the fryer and there is nothing wrong with it but something is clearly wrong for it to crack a virtually indestructible worktop! The fryer itself worked but the worktop underneath got so hot you could fry an egg on it!! Tefal are denying all responsibility and will not give us a refund or compensate us for our damaged worktop!! Customer service is just a fob off. Tefal are meant to be good quality but clearly no longer. Will never buy from them again!!
