A total rip-off. Unless you’re willing to work anywhere, for any length of time, and under any conditions, this certificate is useless. It doesn't include any teaching practice, which is essential for job applications. The placement rate TEFL.org claims must be hidden behind some very creative fine print.
Not recommended. Unless you've just finished school and don't care where or for how long you go abroad.

Its okay!
I liked that the course is well organised and easily understandable. However, the word count for the tasks is so short and takes away the fun and the meaningfulness. Especially in the second-to-last unit, it was nearly impossible. They want a lot from you, such as explanations, outlines, comments, etc., in only 400 words. It definitely was not enjoyable.
I heard that my friend used another platform and she has less problems.

Great training by a great teacher
The teacher/instructor was very engaging and accommodating of our different backgrounds and experiences. The activities were quite enjoyable too, and his career tips were insightful. The low student-teacher ratio we had was also good.

TEFL 120-hour course
The structure of the course is conducive to the learning experience and the quality of the materials is high, making it easy to follow and benefit if one approaches the course with no previous teaching experience. The support behind the online training material is responsive and helpful. One enhancement I would suggest is to include advice on what to teach, not just how to teach - as a likely remote, private tutor, I will not have a school or employer giving me the curriculum.

Excellent Program to Prepare for Teaching ESL Students
I have taken several online courses and this one was the best by far! It was thorough, interesting and informative and covered every aspect of teaching English learners. I gained an understanding of the needs of an ESL student and learned many techniques and activities. In addition, having an experienced tutor check my assignments and offer valuable suggestions enabled me to become a better teacher. In addition, I have recently signed up for two advanced courses.

Overall experience
The overall experience was great. I was able to do most of the activities and quizzes with ease and enjoyed learning about the new things too. This course surely helped me build a solid foundation to become an English teacher as a side hustle. At first I thought teaching was just "teaching" until this course was a bit of an eye opener to how much work is actually behind teaching itself.
There were areas where I wish things were a little more summarized and less repetitive but other than that everything was pretty straightforward and the tutor reviewing the final assignments was helpful + made sure that you would nail the revision that had to be made in case of
a mistake.

Just finished my level 5
Just finished my level 5, 250 hr Diploma. Excellent content. A sound long term investment. I already have an English language degree but still gained many insights and knowledge. The videos of an actual English language center was good. Joanna was really helpful and had good feedback on my assignments. I could tell Joanna had experience. She had some good tips. Now I am looking for a job/internship and there was good info help with that. I am pursuing getting into an internship program I found on the job tefl.org job board.

Suitably challenging.
Course was suitably challenging for a L5 but the assignments didn't always reflect the unit course material very well nor in a logical order.
My tutor was as helpful as one can expect from emailed responses with a 48hr turn around. However, you should expect to be fully independent when doing the diploma course with Internet research to back you up if you get stuck rather than relying on tutor support.
