The worst Telekom company in Germany. Never use them. They cheat, they lie and their service is useless.

Do not get this company's stuff!!! its tied to only problems. I had an Internet from them, moved apartments wasn't able to have it further as there was no cables in the apartment. Tried to get someone to put cables, stated multiple times thru WhatsApp support that there is absolutely no cables in my new apartment, they sent a guy to mout a DSL socket WITHOUT any cables in walls, he said he will let someone know, he didn't. I spent another few days trying to get someone else to come. They sent yet another Guy to MOUNT A DSL socket, without cables...Again. He called the technician, technician let me know he needs landlords agreement to put cables and they'd do it. Landlord didn't agree so had to cancel.Also At the beginning of moving out i had their workers come and "help me" with moving my Internet to other house (because i can do it only via website and I DOESN'T WORK) he took my data and said someone will contact me. Later on 4 contracts were made under my name without any confirmation whatsoever. Also 24 months14 day cancelation is almost impossible due to 3 bullshid numbers they give you for some landline phone you probably never gonna use, you have to put one on website in order to cancel contract but the website DOESN'T EVEN WORK keeps spitting error. Worst experience i ever had with any company. To sign a contract - spit on hand and shake but to cancel-all data and shoe size also how tall are you and how much you weigh and your grandfather grandfather shoe size. Overcomplicated for absolutely no reason, website crashes all the time, contracts are made under your name randomly, help is lil to none and they have the audacity to tell you you can't cancel before the end of contract even if they DON'T provide service.. unless you know you can and they can't push it and take more...one big pile of shidd is this company in Germany. Greedy mofos, don't recommend and never will...
Worst service
The service is TERRIBLE in all of their services! I paid for almost 2 years for optic fiber without receiving the service. I called and message several times and got no help. I got help the moment I decided to cancel the service and even then, the lady was not the nicest.
Yesterday, I tried to get MagentaTV and the process was unbelievably complicated. They even charged me two times, luckily I was able to cancel one of them. My partner and I ended getting the service twice, without the possibility to cancel one of them.
I would not recommend it.
Possibly the most unprofessional company I had to deal with
The Telekom technician had to come to my apartment to set up a new internet connection. The first time they didn't have the right key to open the Hausanschluss in the basement. I then had to reschedule a new appointment: they scheduled it for the wrong day (not the one that I asked over the phone). Today they had to come again after I finally manged to get a second appointment and I get a notification that the technician was at my place (GPS confirmed). Funny that they didn't even try to ring the doorbell. This company is a joke.

I have called telekom kundenservice for my kündigung statement but the mitarbeiter told me its only possible thru "formular" , thus I have sent my "kündigung" punktually and i recieved the confirmation email that confirms the statement is recieved by the company.
But one month later i have recieved a new "rechnung" as if my contract is continued , and yes it was continued and my kündigung statement was not processed.
This sounds so unfair i had only to do as my duty as a contract partner and expect the duty of proccessing it from the partner, all i had to do was to send my kündigung statement and im done , i cant send it and again make another request to proccess my kündigung request, this makes absolutely no sense, when their system is insuffiecient, its anything but my problem, if it was my problem, then lower the price of the service, bcuz it doesnt sound like a "half service", all i have to do is send my statement and make sure theyve heard/recieved it, the rest is their problem and if the contract continues i expect them to not see the problem from my side and solve the problem that they are responsible for.
The worst customer service ever
The worst customer service ever. i do not have enough words for waste of time they make. I have cancelled my contract got confirmation for it and i am still getting billed. I tried calling, but no answer. tried going to the stored, says i have to do it online. I mean, what is all these??? such user hating company. never ever taking a service from these people.
Never sign anything (even on Telekom legit representative's phone)
Don't sign anything extra (though it may seem as simple as confirmation). They are trying to upsell costy unexisting services.
And once fooled, do not widerruf either - Telekom may resents and put you into "blacklist". No way to get the service again without punishing waiting time.
It's so fun to entertain yourself in sales department when you get no competition. Revenue is obviously lost as I cannot onboard again.
I received 2scammers
I received 2 people claiming to be from Telekom with jackets and t-shirts saying that they are improving the line and the whole street is updating to Telekom. I have Vodafone. I know that was a scam trying to get my info and forcing sign a contract. I called Vodafone and Telekom to verify. Vodafone was incredibly professional while Telekom representatives behaved almost worse than the scammers. The representative talking was incredibly unprofessional and give us clearly the vibes they are involved. They are the one getting the advantage of the scams. Stay away from this company and don’t believe anything they say.
i move abroad
i move abroad. they wouldn't let me cancel my contract in the shop. i go online to cancel my internet contract. the forms only accept a telephone number that i wish to cancel. my contract is for internet and not a telephone number. There is no support email. So now i write bad reviews.
Unbelievable Experience with Telekom!
My internet connection keeps dropping throughout the day. Just today, I’ve had 5–6 disconnections, each lasting over 2–3 minutes. And that’s not even the worst—on some days, the connection has been down multiple times for over 20 minutes!
Update (02.08.2025):
Since the Telekom technician's visit, my SNR margin (Signal-to-Noise Ratio) has dropped from 32 dB to 6.3 dB. Why? Because he incorrectly swapped the cables, weakening my signal instead of fixing the issue.
And here’s the best part—want to know how "knowledgeable" this Telekom technician was?
Today, I received a "Service / Assembly Proof" report. Under the "Note from Technical Customer Service" section, he wrote:
"Router defective. Only 22Mbit/s available, but 111Mbit/s arrive."
What the poor man actually tried to address was the potential bandwidth of my DSL line (111881 kbit/s) vs. my contracted speed (22000 kbit/s)—which is completely irrelevant, as the second number simply represents the bandwidth I signed up for. He didn’t even interpret the router status report correctly!
This is beyond frustrating! While the issue has partially improved and the failure rate has decreased by 70–80%, the technician still managed to degrade my DSL connection quality. This level of service is simply unacceptable!
Scam
Scam, Some people claiming to be this company tricked me into doing paid projects. After I completed the project, she sent me fake payments, and I didn't get anything for the projects I worked on.
Stable and fast internet
Best internet connection in Germany, so far better than any alternatives.
The only downside is that it's also usually the most expensive.
This morning the Telekom technician…
This morning the Telekom technician came to our apartment, as per scheduled appointment, to do the connection, as we changed our internet provider. Unfortunately it was unsuccessful because the Anschluss is not in our Apartment Keller (Hausnummer 19), rather in another apartment (Hausnummer 25). Of course, we received an email from Telekom that the Anschluss is in a Room or in the Keller/Basement, but it was not mentioned there which keller/Hausnummer. Therefore we haven't arranged this to our Hausmeister to let us in there. Still, together with the technician, we went to Hausnummer 25 and tried to ring every name hoping that someone will let us in but no one opens the door for us. Also, the technician who came was just unfriendly. The type that you are afraid to ask if he can wait a little more to try our Hausmeister to call and asks him maybe if he can come. That's why, we have no internet connection and my wife cannot able to work at home because of this. And therefore we have to make another appointment. It is disappointing because I expect that it wouldn't be as complicated as this because Telekom told us when their employee convinced us to change provider (as we have Vodafon before) that all the wlan lines in the whole Germany is owned by the Telekom, and those other provider, they are renting their lines. But why was it that when we had our Vodafon, that was super easy? I cannot remember that we have 1 day no internet because of failed to connect. I normally don't write complaints. But I take this as a help for them so that they can avoid this to happen next time to their other customers.
Cannot contact customer service
Tried calling customer service today, but looks like they cannot hear people speaking on the phone, and keep saying "haloo". Might be a good idea for Telekom to get some working headsets for their customer service. It is currently impossible to contact them in any way.
Really bad service and mafia company…
Really bad service and mafia company that kidnaps you by making impossible to finish a contract with them. Useless client service. Nobody speaks english and they are rude about it and hang up on you of you don’t speak German.
The weakest IT compyny in the world!
The biggest IT company in Germany has no English website! Support? No way! My bank account is not as strict as Telekom to login! But it's funny. You can change the IBAN from its app! But you can't reset your password by it!! You can't even see your Benutzenname in the app. I even can't find it in my documents!!!
I also have disconnected 3 or 4 times each day! Unfortunately, there is no other provider in my location and I have to use Germany's biggest internet provider but the weakest one. I can't just say sorry for Telekom!!
Terrible
It's been 1 month that I am trying to find a technician that would solve an issue they created initially. Impossible to reach, technicians that do not show up, customer care that makes you wait for 30 minutes and then laughs in your face. Unprofessional. Terrible.

I cannot describe the disgust I feel from this company. Literally the worst thing I have ever subscribed to. The moment my contract ends, I am NEVER singing another one ever again. "Unlimited data" until you spend 200GB, and then you have to reactivate 10GB over and over again through their app, which by the way, requires internet. Let's not talk about the fees I've gotten for keeping their router from the previous contract (I hadn't) or the stories from other people being charged gigantic fees by these people. I hope someday we can collectively sue this thing.

Absolutely the worst service provider in Germany. We have been reaching out to them for almost 2 weeks for a change of contract since we are moving from one city to another and they have not been able to provide us any clarification forget about moving the contract. Absolutely not recommended.
