Moved into my apartment September of…

Moved into my apartment September of last year.
On the Telekom internet availability check on their website , it shows that there is a 16MBPS connection available at my address. I ordered it and their technician came to my building and told me that there is no copper connection in the building and left. I was told that I need to take their LTE connection as they are connecting the building to fiber glass internet. I made an ordered with them for the glass fiber connection in March of this year hoping it will be over since they have been working on it since before i moved into this apartment. I keep asking them for a call back request to understand why there is a delay but Telekom does not employ customer service agents who can speak English and as an expat this is making all our lives harder. Now they have directed me to talk to their expansion partner to ask for an update. So now in addition to them not being able to connect out building to the internet I have to do their job for them and speak to their expansion partners. I cannot use any other provider as they do not operate in our area.

Telekom - Terrible Service and Products.
Got a new Telekom router wich had a problem right from the beginning (2mb download speed max while contract said 200mb). I told the Telekom Service hotline about the problem but they did not believe me(!?!) and said I have to pay for a technican with my own money. Telekom delivers broken product and has the audacity to tell the customer everything is fine and that they have to pay for their own techincan. I did not know that Telekom is this broke... Very poor und unrespectful behaivour.

terrible for buisiness

based in Switzerland, we have an office in Hamburg. i desperately try to open a new internet line for a new office.. but never got any replies. if you are international company and don't speak German.. forget to have anything from them

Felt very unsafe because of Telekom Techniker

I was very reluctant to leave a review about my experience with a Deutsche Telekom Techniker, but it has been two weeks and it still bothers me very much.

Two weeks ago a Techniker came to our house to install our WiFi. As my partner had to work I (a 27 year old woman) was home alone when the Techniker came over.

Within 10 minutes of him being at our house he touched my ass. At that time I thought that it might have been by accident as the living room was still full of boxes and it was al close quarters.

However, when he asked me to check on my phone if the WiFi was working he pushed his body against mine to 'also look at my phone'. I stepped away and was about to message my partner.. mom.. anyone really, that I felt unsafe he did it again.

My partner messaged the Telekom about what happened but their response was in the gist of "I am very sorry that you weren't satisfied with our service".

I am not happy with the way they handled it, and I am scared for other young women who will be visited by this Techniker.

Worst support and mob ethernet

The mobile ethernet was good until last week, now download speed 30-50mb, when it was +- 150mb. Why i'm paying for it 75 eur? Are u kidding, support on chat also the worst. Not recommended. They saying its the max speed 300, there are no minimal speed Bla-Bla-Bla. Nothing usefull.

Telekom renew my contract in a shady manner: I had a DSL contract "MagentaZuhause L mit MagentaTV" I moved to a different address , the online moving service asks for the new "Tarif", so I chose "MagentaZuhause L" (I missed the "mit MagentaTV" part) than I was surprised my contract is renewed to more 2 years with the highest monthly price. after complaining they said I changed the "Tarif" there for the contract is renewed. so I have to live for 2 years paying 45 eur for 100 Mbit/s

Telekom does nothing but lie!

What a terrible customer experience I had with these crooks. I had a prepaid phone with them for three years where I got very little data and so decided to switch to Simon mobile where I get four times the data for less money. I wanted to port my number and they told me I could do it. I sent them the form 5 times before they did it. They asked me over and over for the same account information. Then when they finally approved it they cut my phone off for a week. I had to use wifi to call anyone. They are just a bunch of liars and cheats. Avoid Telekom at any cost.

I went to sign a contract for the Internet

I went to sign a contract for the internet and the employee (a Turkish guy who was speaking English) asked me to sign a contract that includes TV (for free for 6 months) and I can just come and cancel that any time. This is helping him to reach some targets. Silly me, I wanted to help and signed it.
Little did i know, that caused avalange of issues.
Of curse they charged me, of curse I was not able to cancel it as they said. If you cancel before 6 months you need to sign a new more expensive contract??
And ofc when i canceled this, my new contract was signed and I still paid one month of TV + my contract extended for 6 months.
DON'T TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY. I was in the office and they confirmed TV vanvellation, yet they charged me. Second time at their office the employee said he doesn't see my cancellation request??

The absolute worst to cancel with

The absolute worst to cancel with. Multiple confirmations, unreachable customer service, closed the account number but continued to bill me so I couldn’t even file an inquiry. Three full months of billing after account was closed, Any US service members and families going to Germany, avoid them like the plague.

Technician who came to our house to…

Technician who came to our house to install the internet took him 3 hours to make it work even though the people who live here before already had an internet connection.
The technician was quite rude and gave snappy answers. He saw we are having lunch and did not offer to come back later and on top of it, he put his tools and tablet on our table where we were eating.
He was also quite rude to my wife pretending he did not understand what she was saying.
A bad experience with Telekom that should train their technician on customer service.

The internet is so bad all the time

The internet is so bad all the time, especially on phones, that it took me 10 minutes to get to this website so I can write a review on how bad the internet is. And I'm exploiting max bandwith. Not to mention that I have no choice but to use mobile data in order to surf on the internet. Imagine having to use mobile data whilst being in your own home.
