Overall, I've found the service good, but they have closed down the ability to see bills on the web. I've tried registering for the Three Mobile app, but for some reason it tells me it can't log me in. I've also been able to use roaming data on my last two trips, which has been frustrating. When I've had problems, the online chat support have been very helpful, but haven't always been able to resolve the issues.
I would have given a 3 star rating on my overall experience for the last few years. However, recently there was a mistake that resulted in someone else's number getting migrated to my SIM. It is unacceptable that there weren't adequate checks to prevent this from happening. It took several days to reverse the migration, that left me unable to receive calls on my number over a weekend. And while the problem did get rectified, I've had no contact from Tesco mobile to let me know, or any explanation of what happened, never mind an apology.

The worst company ever paying for 5g and getting internet that is buffing all the time after 3 sim replacements and errors on the phone customer care are useless they don't want to know, and that's a bill pay at 45 a month 24 month contract and they troyed to charge me for sim replacement 10 ever time as a bill pay customer and the sim replacement did not work

There should be a zero star option. They switched off the web topup with very little notice and my logon to their app is being rejected. I use the mobile top up for my children who are now stranded with no mobile and I have no way to top up their accounts. How do Tesco justify treating customers this way.

I left and cancelled my contract when it was up in April to move to another supplier. This turned out to be very difficult to change my supplier because Tesco had major difficulty transferring my number after many emails and phone calls we goy sorted. But then 6 weeks later Tesco helped them self's to my bank account they tuck €287.93 from my bank account with out and notice of invoice even though I was fully paid up ending my contract and before this my bill should have been €35 per month was all ways €72 per month with out any explaining to me. I have to say thank you to my bank aib for sorting the extracted money and having it returned.

Impossible to cancel contract. I have emailed, phoned, webchatted and EVEN used regular POST! just to file cancellation to contract. To my frustration this has been going on for more than half a year, and although I had been assured by customer agent on the phone that all is done is dusted, 2 months after the supposed cancellation I am still getting bills!!!! AVOID!

We had an issue with my very elderly father's mobile but it was really quickly resolved by Jessica in Tesco Artaine CASTLE. We have experienced Jessica's expertise and excellent customer service a number of times and are so grateful yet again for her help.

Changed to Tesco and after two days while driving to visit relatives in Norther Ireland we lost all Google Navigation, access to all our critical data, house alarms etc ~Whatsapp etc etc and could not charge my electric car. A total unmitigated disaster and not a word of warning from Tesco. Don't go near this product.

Paid 15 euros and nowhere on the pack does it tell you to keep the receipt. What a shambles. Why is everything not in the pack??? Useless. Waste of money

Easy to speak to a human. First rate service - you quickly understand they're protecting the broader brand, so unlike everyday Telco operators, I found them primed to understand and sort my penny problems - no automated rigmarole, a pleasant voice and speedy resolution.

I've moved my number to try another provided temporarly, I didn't know this would result in cancellation of my plan and having me charged with over 500 quid

I am posting this review of the appalling service provided by Tesco Mobile Ireland to warn others of what to expect from this company.
I have Irish and UK SIM cards. UK is with another provider.
My 1st issues with Tesco Mobile Ireland is; Overcharging and not being upfront about it.
Because my usage is low, I selected €10 p.m plan. This covered my needs until Oct 2024 when I needed a top up of €10. I was not aware that Tesco Mobile Ireland automatically lock you into a higher plan when you add a one off top up. The staff member, who believed there is an option that I’d missed, was surprised to find there is no choice, you are automatically opted on to the next plan. In my case I went from €10 to €20 p.m. despite my low usage. How many others have been caught out with this?
When I discovered this overcharge, the Tesco Mobile Ireland customer service agent I spoke with was quite hostile. I did not ask his name as I believed I’d not be given the correct one and would feed into his sense of power.
When asked for my email I said it is either XXXgmailcom or XXicloudcom and because I had moved home 3-4 times since opening the A/C, I listed the different addresses. I use the App where I do not need to retain precise details. Despite the fact that I could provide full details, this didn’t satisfy the agent who had my details on screen from my mobile number.
As my life is busy and stressful I did not have time to follow up until 12 March when I was promised the plan would be changed, I’m not sure it was. The refund of overcharge of €40 (€10 x 4 months) was ignored.
2nd issue, Mid-March I was the victim of crime whereby my drivers licence, I.D. card, € & £ bank cards and Tesco Mobile Ireland SIM were stolen along with other items. TESCO MOBILE IRELAND WIN TOP PRIZE FOR APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE dealing with this situation.
When I called from UK to seek advice on what to do about the stolen SIM and while I was at it, enquire about the refund, I was passed to five different agents before I realised they were playing a game. I was pass-the-parcel.
Nothing was resolved until I came to Ireland and Brian in Tesco Clare Hall, Dublin sorted a new SIM and did his best to provide decent customer service within a poor system.
I have no plans to add a needed top up as I don’t want to be set up for another opportunity for Tesco Mobile Ireland to rip me off again.
It should be noted, Trust Pilot ratings for TescomMobile. co. uk and TescoMobile .ie are 4.4 and 1.6 respectively. Says it all.

For the second time in two months I can’t manually alter my safety buffer settings. Last time it took me numerous calls and emails to rectify it.
Back at square one again…. I can’t wait for my contract to finish…..
I wouldn’t recommend Tesco Mobile, to anyone thinking of taking up their services.

My daughter had an issue with her tesco mobile and it was resolved quickly by Thione at the Arklow store. I decided to switch my phone to Tesco too and he was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

We were trying to get 2 phones from tesco and my wife got one but the second one they wanted Id proof of address then refused the second phone on the basis of bank statement and id not good enough. Completely crazy so now we have one phone and refusal to give a second

I tried to top up my Tesco mobile by 15€ and they took 60€ off of my account! This is why I blocked them from Revolut in the past. I am changing providers immediately. They always take extra off for everything. My plan is meant to be 15 euro a month as I bought a plan and bought a new iPhone separately from another company. Every month there is an issue. They regularly try to take money not owed off of my account. Avoid Tesco mobile.

Won't change over my phone number , 6 calls made and hung up on the 6th call. Need my phone number changed over after taking up a new plan and wasn't done automatically, have done a bunch of verification questions and authentication with the previous number recieving texts to my old SIM card and repeating them over the phone to Tesco mobile and they still haven't changed over my number. Massive inconvenience to me not being able to receive any calls or texts from anyone I know or work. I'll call back again later and hopefully they don't hang up on me. Sean was the name of the fella who hung up on me what's the craic with that was on hold for 10 minutes then hung up on? Sort it out.

My god. I wish I read the reviews before I bought a sim.
Told the girl in the shop that the old one was lost. My brother in Australia left it in a cupboard but I can't find it. She asked me for my brothers number to see could she ring him and find out where he left it...😲. Eventually got the new sim. Didn't get any pass code texted to me to register. Then customer service....Eventually... said I needed to buy credit and make a few calls on the no. First.. tried that eventhough I wasn't registered on the network... didn't allow me to do that..
Customer service 10 mins holding again..
