Ordered dresses online and after 3 days was informed that there is a problem with the system and I couldn’t have the sizes I ordered and paid for
After speaking to a staff member was offered an different size
When they finally were delivered the size was different again
When I called was told they must have made a mistake but that was the only size they had left
3 sizes bigger than original order

Our constant was extremely helpful she made it an enjoyable experience

Went in and picked a lovely dress, got measured and the girls said when it arrives all that will need done is maybe the length altered , granted the dress arrived two weeks before it was expected, however the bust was around a 6 dress sizes bigger, keeping in mind I have a big bust, but the top was massive compared to the bottom half, also asked for no padding and it arrived with padding, also the side needs taken in so much that it is changing the placement of fabric featuring on the sides of the dressing, I’ve emailed a few times only to be told it’s standard to need alterations, which understand but to have to have 4 inches of off the sides and at least 6/8 off the bust is excessive in my opinion despite when. I tried it on it ‘ only needed nipped in at the sides’ well the seamstress said otherwise .. wouldn’t recommend to be honest

Beautiful dress, arrived super fast and it was only £50, couldn’t recommend these lovely people more they are so accommodating

We visited that special day bridal warehouse in Livingston today for a dress for my daughters high school prom. Aimee was fantastic, she helped us so much as my daughter didn’t know what colour or what style she wanted or what would suit her. Aimee showed us the where the dresses where & explained what was what & let us have a look around. When my daughter had picked dresses Aimee helped her with trying them on. The dress my daughter picked is beautiful & really suits her. I would recommend booking an appointment with that special day bridal to anyone, the girls are lovely & really helpful.

I purchased my wedding dress from TSDB on 22/03/24 from the warehouse outlet. Dawn really looked after me and didn’t mind that I wanted to try on a lot of dresses! I also recently purchased 3 of my bridesmaids dresses from their clearance sale (online) and they came so quickly! The quality of the dresses is unreal for the price! My wedding gown is absolutely stunning also and I cannot wait to wear it on my wedding day! If you need anything bridal please give TSDB a look… so worth it!! X

Terrible company. Would avoid unless u want extra costs you really could be doing without they fiitted 10 dresses in our bridal party and most had to got to a tailors and be refitted.

Edit: in response to the reply from the store below. The staff were pushy when I returned on the Saturday and just kept saying it will look great in professional photos, don't look at your photos, It will look lovely don't second guess. And yes they said to my mum that I could try another dress but it was also said to me that this would confuse matters and the dress I had was lovely.
With regards to the fact that you send the orders off at the end of every day, again this isn't true, otherwise the order would have been sent off on the Friday or Saturday not the Sunday.
Also, I emailed on Monday but got a response on Tuesday as you were closed stating this had already gone to the suppliers.
The lady I spoke to on the phone today, advised that the supplier had cut this on the Monday, however, when my mum called on Tuesday to speak to the store, one of the girls said they would contact the supplier and came back to say no they've just cut the material so yet again the store is manipulating the truth to suit their own needs.
The staff were callous and uncaring as they did nothing to help with the situation, just kept saying it's a beautiful dress it will be lovely to a bride who was devastated about their dress. I did not want a refund as was said on the phone, we were simply looking to pick another dress as had been said previously that we could but we're told that no this was not possible.
I only got a phone call today (Sunday) to offer me to go in and pick a new dress after I put a review up which is not a company who cares about its customers, only about the front it puts on.
Finally, yes at this stage I did refuse to come in and pick another dress as after all of the unpleasantness and poor customer service we have received, I would not feel comfortable coming in to pick a dress and have my bridal experience ruined further.
The level of customer service has been incredibly poor and if this had been months or even weeks after ordering I would fully understand, it was a matter of two days (one of which the company was closed). I stand by my review and the phone call this morning further cemented this poor service.

VERY POOR SERVICE, AVOID!!!
Went in for an appointment on a Friday, the girl was very nice during the I trial appointment and I ended up choosing a dress and paying the required 50% deposit, it is stated in the contract which I signed saying this is non refundable. The next day I was very unsure of my choice as the colour just did not feel right, I went back to try on again and the girls were very pushy that it looked great and I would look great on my big day. A couple of amendments were made to the order and we left just as they were closing.
However, at home I decided that this was definitely not for me and sent them an email on the Monday (the store was closed that day) and advised I did not want to proceed with the dress.
I got an email back the next morning saying unfortunately the material had already been sent to the supplier at the end of each working day and the material had been cut!!
I find this difficult to believe as we were told the orders are sent at the end of each day, which wasn't the case as this would have been sent on the Friday or the Saturday if this was indeed the case. Also, it seems very convenient on my opinion, that the material had just been cut when my mum phoned and the girl went to check with the supplier.
I phoned and spoke with them and explained I did not want my deposit back but I was happy to pick another dress from them so they weren't losing a sale. They were very callous and uncaring, refused to let me choose another dress and just said it will be fine on the day.

I am now out over £600 as they have kept my deposit and have to pay for another dress elsewhere.
Future brides avoid this place! They are awful with after sales service, as soon as they get your money they don't care and will lie to ensure they keep your money!!!

My Mum and I had a fabulous time at that special day bridal! Emma was fantastic and made me feel so comfortable trying on all the dresses. It helped that we were twin flames and had all the same taste in dresses! Thank you for all your help Emma, absolute gem!

I just want to say a massive thank you to Emma for yesterday when I came in for my appointment at 10am. She went above and beyond and made me feel really comfortable in my appointment and helping me find my dress for my special day; was an incredible experience. Thank you again.

That special day bridal, the place to go!

We had an appointment yesterday with a wonderful girl called Taylor who was fabulous. My future Daughter n law said yes to the most perfect dress! From start to finish the day was made so special there is a few special touches done along the way but dont want to spoil it for any future brides. Dresses are very reasonably priced. There is a great selection and the thing i was very impressed with was they can change parts of the dresses so my daughter n law loved a dress but it was halter neck that she didn't like she was told they could change it to straps or even make it strapless which I was really impressed with.

The shop is absolutely stunning. A proper bridal haven. You want the wow factor?! THIS IS IT!!!

What an experience! From start to finish she was just amazing. She gave me Prosecco,she laughed with me,she hugged me and she built my confidence. ❤️.

Wedding dress shopping is meant to be memorable and I will never forget it! I left That Special Day after picking THE most stunning dress. And I’m the happiest bride ever. Lauren you blew my wee mind!

All I can say is WOW! Had the most wonderful time at that special day bridal for my best friends bridal appointment 👰 Aimee the consultant was incredible and made the experience so personal. The shop itself is stunning and you’re made to feel so welcome. We were all gutted that we had to leave 😂 could have easily stayed all day. Absolutely faultless!

We came for my friends bridal appointment this weekend and I cannot fault a single part of the whole day. All of the girls were great but Aimee, our consultant was absolutely brilliant. She kept our Prosecco’s topped up and found the most beautiful and perfect dress. The process and day was completely seamless- 10/10 recommend xx

Typing this the morning after the afternoon before… I had the best experience I could ever have wished for yesterday for my Bridal appointment. I went in and quickly realised I’d entered girl heaven! 💍💕 Aimee sat down with me & all the girls and then took me round and let me select gowns & then she threw in some wild card options. I was extremely nervous before my appointment but the moment I was with Aimee in the changing room I felt so at ease and confident. Aimee is a credit to That Special Day Bridal. If you are thinking of booking your bridal appointment here, don’t think just do it! Store manager Lauren was also on hand to supply drinks & laughter. A lovely bunch of women who go out their way to everyone who walks through the doors and experience they will never forget! Roll on March for us to go back for our bridesmaids appointment! 🪩🤍
