Paying for food and not getting it
I have been visiting this cafe for many years as I live locally. Today, as for many previous visits, I ordered an egg and bacon sandwich on brown bread. I had to wait a while, but that was to be expected as the cafe was busy. Finally my buzzer went off and i went to the counter to pick up my sandwich. When I got there I was offered a white bap, which I declined and politely informed the gentleman serving that I had ordered a brown bread sandwich. The gentleman took the bap back and the buzzer and that was that, no sandwich. Having spent £8.80 I was really disappointed to come away with nothing just because the staff had got the order wrong. I have supported the Beachside for many years, but I won't be visiting there again as I cannot support someone who takes your money and offers nothing in return.
