Good beard straightener, but the battery mount on the unit is perplexing. If you try to pick the unit up out of the charger, the battery will stay behind. Everything else is very high quality, but why there is no latch or anything to hold the battery in place in the unit seems very odd. Heat up time seems to be a bit slow compared to my old Aberlite Go, but the display is highly readable, whereas my Aberlite was not. Good unit, but with the battery slipping, I cannot call it great.

Love this! so I reach for this, this is the first thing I think about when I look into Mimir's Well, I do recommend looking into a routine where your not cooking the beard balm into your beard straightener, all though you can straighten over the oils, the oils are fine! for example (on no shower days you can use the Balm) if you only used oil the day before (on a shower day) the day and night oil then you wake up the next day you can straighten without washing then after you straighten you can add more oil then you can add the beard balm! So, beard balm every other day, only if your washing every other day if that makes sense because it says that if you use heat on beeswax it can harm your hair and your straightener so find a routine to where your comfortable without damaging your beard or straightener!

Very unimpressed with this beard straightener. I bought a cheap plug in one off Amazon to see if I liked straightening my beard. After using it for 6 months I decided to buy a ‘Cadillac’ version for 5 times the price to treat myself. Huge waste of money. Does it work, yes. Does it work better then my cheap-0 vikkon model, not in the least. IMO the cheap vikkon actually straightens my beard better. The batteries don’t last very long, but with the back up battery I am not letting that affect my rating. I give it a 2 star based solely on the price which’s is wayyyy too high and the fact it doesn’t work that great, not even as good as a cheap Amazon one. Unless you absolutely need a cordless for some reason I wouldn’t purchase, conversely if you NEED a cordless I’m sure you can find a cheaper one. This is not worth the high price tag. Sincerely-unimpressed purchaser

I wanted to love this so badly. Sadly, there are many flaws, and after paying over $100 for this thing I am frankly upset. the good: it will brush your beard. it does heat up. it has cool lights, and an extra battery. the bad: I feel it could use more heat. the batteries have little gripping for you fingers, but the gripping go the wrong way for the way you hand sits when brushing a beard. I dont know who tested this brush, but they must have had little girl hands. I say this because when using this brush I have to grab it with 2 fingers, to avoid accidently changing the heat settings. The button is far to low on the handle, if I hold the brush with 3 full fingers, or god forbid 4 I and up hitting the button on the brush and knocking it down in heat all the way to the first setting. Poor design for a product made for "manly" men. the volumizer is fairly useless, but that is because it is a complete mystery as to how or why to use it. I saw no instructions on that in the box, yes it is fairly obvious that it is a heated hair pick, but why would I want that? saldy, I feel like I wasted a lot of money on this, and would love to help them design this brush for men, not little girls.
