I was gifted the virtual cheese tasting with accompanying drinks and it was excellent - the cheese was incredible, really highlighting small, local producers to Yorkshire that aren't widely available. But Andy's commentary was what made it - the depth of knowledge about the producers and the history of cheese was fascinating. We had a great evening and will be heading to CD for a trip soon!

The Courtyard Dairy is BRILLIANT. The staff are incredibly knowledgable and friendly - whether contact is made online or in person. The choice of cheese (and accompaniments) is amazing. We've visited in person several times, joined many online tasting events and regularly order cheese online (always delivered as requested and packaged perfectly to avoid any damage). Andy and his team's passion really shine through, but we particularly love the fact that the cheese is made by small, independent producers - so not only does it taste amazing but it also comes with a fantastic 'feel good factor' too. I was given a three cheese subscription with the Courtyard Dairy as a birthday present. What a fabulous gift it turned out to be. The cheeses are very nicely packaged and delivered in perfect condition. I received a veriey of interesting and cheeses which were all delicious. The cheeses are delivered on specific days so you don't risk being away when they arrive. I requested that some delivery dates were changed and that some types of cheese which I don't like were not included in the subscription. I received a quick response from Andy and the changes were made to my subscription.

This was our fifth online cheese tasting and, as always, we loved it! Amazing quality cheeses which we struggled not to inhale in one sitting. Andy is a great presenter and is just so knowledgeable, it’s mind boggling. We’ve made it to the shop once and bought our wedding cheese cake from the Courtyard which was greatly enjoyed on the day and afterwards! Thank you as always!

Our first introduction to The Courtyard Dairy was the gift of a virtual cheese tasting voucher, which turned out to be a brilliant introduction to this lovely shop selling all manner of unusual cheeses made by enterprising small family farms. The cheese tastings are very informative,
and delicious and always offer interesting insights.

We bought a virtual cheese tasting with wine and arranged our own video call with friends to taste the cheese and wine together whilst watching Andy's video of how the cheese was made and where it came from. It was all excellent, really delicious cheeses with a range of strengths and we really enjoyed hearing about where they came from and seeing the pictures of the farms. A really great and tasty experience - thank you.

Courtyard is the best. We’ve used all the major UK cheesemongers for subscriptions, events and one-off purchases, and The Courtyard Dairy is comfortably our favourite.

Every cheese arrives in perfect condition and seemingly at exactly the right stage of maturity. Andy’s knowledge during the virtual tastings is incredibly deep and fascinating, and the whole team are a pleasure to deal with.

I was recently sent a birthday gift of mixed cheeses from The Courtyard Dairy. They were superb - absolutely delicious and a real eye opener. Beautifully presented with hand written labels describing the individual cheeses. I will be ordering more of them...

Ordered for a birthday gift, a beautifully assembled box of fresh goats cheese, nestled in straw and bound with a ribbon, all arriving in perfect order. We will definitely buy again - a fabulous supplier!

My husband and I attended a cheese making course at the courtyard dairy. We had a great day learning all about the history of cheese, how it’s made and getting to try our hand and making some ourselves. We had a warm welcome and throughly enjoyed it all. The amount of knowledge they have is phenomenal. We would happily come back regularly if it wasn’t quite so far from where we live.

We had a virtual tasting session with wines. All the admin worked well with cheese and wine samples arriving in good time. Really enjoyed the cheeses and learned quite a bit about cheese making and the producers. Seeing a few pictures of cheese makers added some context. This was an entertaining event with several good friends and family around the country. Andy was a great host and the other guests on zoom call were entertaining! Will do it again soon. Wines were well chosen too!

I attended the Strong & Mature Virtual Cheese Tasting yesterday. It was highly enjoyable. The cheese was absolutely delicious, especially the St Cera. Andy was very entertaining and informative. I had, for example, no idea that Wensleydale was originally a blue cheese. It was also very interesting to be told about the various producers and how they got involved in cheese making. I shall definitely do another tasting.

We bought virtual tasting (with wine!) experiences for our family and friends this Christmas then arranged to “meet” online to enjoy Andy’s cheese and hear about the production. The whole process was so slick, from the vouchers being sent, to the ordering of the cheese for delivery, then the arrival of the cheese with the zoom link. We had a fun time tasting and the cheeses of course are delicious - so very different from cheap supermarket cheese. Next time .. I will make notes of all the codes sent to family before giving them as presents .. as a couple got lost (!) .. but Andy helpfully sorted that too!! Great gift, great idea, fun experience. We did our first cheese tasting yesterday. Irish cheese to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. Andy’s genuine presentation and love of all things cheese made for a very entertaining and informative hour or so. Fantastic quality cheese, beer, cider and whiskey. We will definitely be joining another “distance” tasting

This was the second virtual cheese tasting we had done. The first was Scottish cheese & whiskey, the second was the Welsh Cheese Tasting on St David’s Day. The whole event was wonderful, from the selection of cheese and wine to the thoroughly informative, entertaining and light hearted presentation by Andy. We learned so much about the individual cheese makers and what makes them so special.
Mention must also be made of the great service I received prior to the event: the event was sold out but, on contacting staff at CD, they squeezed us in and rushed a delivery of cheese and wine to us BEFORE we had even paid! Then, we jolly well lost the Zoom link. Even though it was a Sunday, Andy resent the link.
A thoroughly enjoyable evening and one we will definitely be repeating.

The quality of the cheeses is very high and it is a small company which is worth supporting.

We've bought cheeses from the Courtyard Dairy for the last 3-4 years and the quality has always been exceptional whilst the variety always means it's tempting to try something new.
The service is also exceptional, friendly and prompt.

We bought the advent calendar for our son & his wife last year and were all so impressed with the whole package! Thinking we may have to buy one for home this year, we were lucky enough to have one sent to us! Fabulous cheeses (generous portions) with all the information and history of/about them, recipes … and even a couple of cheese jokes, beautifully packaged. It’s just the most fabulously enjoyable treat. We had a couple of fun cheese and wine/supper evenings with friends to get in the festive mood. THANK YOU to all at Courtyard Dairy!

Yet again The Courtyard Dairy have excelled themselves. My order arrived in absolutely perfect condition on 22 December. The care taken in packing and presentation is outstanding. The cheese is always delicious and they are very generous portions. The team are an absolute delight to talk to and their dedication to providing a wonderful product shines through. Thank you so very much Courtyard Dairy.
