They're clickbait news in order to chase the dollars in advertising. It's not news. It's sensationalism without facts. I think the Daily Mail has more facts. And that ain't saying much. DB has zero credibility.

I have read the official Daily Beast YouTube channel since 2012 for free, and found the stories about the turmoil of journalists and media outlets interesting, especially as newsrooms around the country are being decimated by private equity. It's all part of the same landscape, so why not read about it?

The Trump nazis it hate so it must be good.

They lie. 24/7.

They are holding my credit card hostage and essentially told me they will charge it anytime they feel like it. I would cancel the subscription but their website is actually designed to keep you from cancelling your subscription.

Hundreds of users report being unable to cancel or get refunds.

Many are stuck paying when locked out of the site.

Company largely ignores emails and phone attempts.

Textbook “Click to Cancel” violation and should be reported to the FTC.

I have been a subscriber to the Daily Beast for years, but their login program is a total mess. It has been a total mess for years. It's so bad that former Vanity Fair editor in chief, Graydon Carter, actually comments about it in his new memoir. Despite reaching out to them multiple times, and changing my password more times than I can remember, I still can't login. And it's not the first time this has happened to me.

I forgot having paid for the BEAST. All of my other paid news-sites log me in automatically. I wasted months for nothing. When it runs out, I will not re-subscribe.

This new site is very biased would not listen to a thing they say!

Michael Daly, a "special correspondent" at the Daily Beast is absolutely out of touch from the current case regarding the death of UnitedHealthcare CEO. Michael Daly is the cause and representation for all the propagandas that the 1% elites and big America corporations want to show to keep us working class asleep. In every article about Luigi Mangione by Michael Daly there are obviously biased and disrespectful comments of his own opinion everywhere in the article about Luigi that are utterly unnecessary such as "unshaven" and "The accused CEO killer looked less like an Ivy League college graduate on Monday, and more like federal inmate" despite Luigi wearing a formal attire of maroon colored wool that costed over $1000, and he was no where near unshaven or "disheveled", the article went as deep as talking about his fingernails and how it's so short that it must have been recently clipped or the "nervous" and "distressed" Luigi have been biting his nails, ironically the officer that was holding onto Luigi's arms had his nails as short as Luigi's if not even shorter. Furthermore, the article although tried to emphasize how Luigi must be so stressed but then continued to include pictures of Luigi smiling in a calm manner. As I try to read Michael Daly's work, I constantly find things Michael wrote that conflict against his own writing. So if you want an unbiased and reliable sources do not come to Daily Beast, they are filled with leftists and unhinged conservatives trying expose its readers to their own biased and political views.

I came across an article from The Daily Beast, but it was blocked by a paywall before I could read even a single sentence. It seems they prioritize profit over providing valuable editorial content to the American public, catering mainly to readers willing to pay for what, in my opinion, is likely confirmation bias.

I like the content but when issues arrive they are no where to be found. Had a subscription for three years did not renew as there is no such thing as customer service. Had a simple problem that I did 4 tickets for and the only response I got was asking for a review.

I don’t mind reading news articles but when they throw so much hate on people named Karen (innocent people)for no reason I think you’re producing false articles and you put out a lot of hate on the people named Karen and I think it’s trashy it’s unprofessional. So if an article makes half the people angry well, you can rest assured by being evil, and putting the name Karen in there you can tick off half the people +300,000 named Karen

Nothing but click bait. Very hard to read any articles due to all the adverts.

A lot of their articles and news stores that they report on are either low quality, plagiarized, working with non existent facts and sometimes even downright fake. Very bad news site and almost impossible to trust the news articles that they put out.
