Ordered 2xfront and 1xrear discs from this company
Initially contact (Dean) was quick and accomadating
Payment for the goods were done upfront
At the original discussion point I offered to send the discs from my bike to verify dimensions etc
When items were received noticed that
1 , rear disc thickness was 5 mm thick compared with the original spec of 6 mm
2, All of the discs had excessive counterbore machined in them for the thickness of the discs ( 3 mm deep on a disc if 5 mm)
When I then contact Dean , I was informed that this was a acceptable job on these discs and were fit for purpose , which I disagree with due to a concern of warping of the discs due to heat and a 2 mm seating onto wheel
I requested either money returned or replacement’s
Dean then has now for months just either messed me about or ignored continual e mails / phone messages

From my experience, don’t give yourself the grief

I have placed an order for an ABS ring to be made. The order has been accepted and paid for by me.

They said they would make it within 3 weeks. After 3 weeks no contact, no response to emails and the phone is not answered. In the fifth week, I received an email that Dean (the contact person) was away for a while and is now back. He would have sent the ABS ring, if I did not receive it he would make a new one and send it.
This was in October 2024, We are now in December 2024 and never received a message again.

Be warned. Thediscdoctor is not a legitimate business.
Initial communications are friendly and efficient, the price is tempting (and probably should be the first warning sign). Dean (the owner) invoices upfront. It all appears proper.
However, a month later, £98 paid and no product delivered.
When I chased for an eta after 3 weeks, I got a reply saying "I've been away for a week and will contact you tomorrow" - then nothing.
There has been no response to further emails, (mobile) phone is not answered. SMS messages also not answered.
Fortunately, I was able to reverse the payment I made with the help of my bank.

Dean Crookes of " The Disc Doctor" was initially very quick to respond to my messages regarding my custom rear brake disc being made. Three months have now amassed without a single update dispite being told a three week lead time. I sent across a disc to be used as a template, luckily this is all I have lost out on.
I have had to purchase another brake disc and I have used "All Bike Engineering" instead who offer a brilliant service.
I just wished I had never wasted my time & money with The Disc Doctor.....!

Dean recently made me a one off sized rear disc for my bike and it was great, fits well, looks better than the 'BRAKING' disc previously fitted, decent price, kept me informed of what was going on and overall just a real easy experience....thanks 😊😊

This company is a joke!

No proper premises, work done out of a glorified garden shed with knackered tooling.

Quality is shocking, communication non-existent, lead times ludicrous!

Regrettably used this outfit to do some aesthetic work on my motorcycle brake discs (there is no physical address on their website and on that point alone, should have known better). They had my discs for weeks longer than promised, needed constant chasing up on work progress (never contacted me, and website-listed phone numbers were disconnected or never answered), eventually sent back something that looked like it had been made by a blind trainee. Both the discs are damaged, the disc carriers weren't blasted correctly prior to anodising and weren't anodised in places. Bobbins are grey not black & are very poorly made with a very poor finish. Later research showed me various forums where others had also bad experiences either with discdoctor or as they were previously known: stealthproducts. So do your homework and see for yourself if you can find a single good review about this business, its products or services. You wont. Shockingly bad. Avoid.
