I’ve been using The Gorge Outdoors in Cheddar Gorge for around 14–15 years for outdoor clothing and equipment, and the service has consistently been excellent.

The quality of the clothing and gear is excellent, and Dave is always professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. As a former outdoor instructor, he really knows the products he sells and has helped me make the right decisions on a number of occasions. Where I’ve been unsure about sizing or specific garments, he’s always been willing to talk things through and help find the right option.

I’ve actually been so impressed with the level of customer service over the years that I’ve also bought equipment and clothing for staff in my own business from there as well, simply because I know that if there are ever any issues, Dave will help sort it out.

Overall, great service over many years, excellent quality outdoor clothing and equipment, and customer service that is hard to fault. I always go here first, when looking for something outdoor related. Well done and thank you!

Very impressed with the level of service I received from The Gorge Outdoors. I needed some advice about a jacket for a trekking trip trip I was going on and rang the shop. David gave me lots of information on the different jackets that would be suitable and options in each. I ordered online and shipping was so quick and well wrapped. As usual I had left everything to the last minute! The ability to speak to someone really gave me reassurance and my Paramo jacket did exactly what I needed for my trip. I highly recommend them and will be back.

Dave at Gorge Outdoors provided absolutely outstanding customer service. I recently purchased several pieces of Paramo clothing and needed to exchange a few items while figuring out the right sizing. Throughout the whole process, communication was almost instant, the service was top notch, and dispatch was incredibly fast.
