Exemplary service! Brilliant staff! Special shout out to Junaid.

I was gifted an Afternoon Tea for a milestone birthday and went yesterday (29 Sep). It was really lovely. So relaxed and chilled, not rushed at all. We went for the champagne option, which was lovely; in addition we got unlimited tea. The food was divine! Little sandwiches with super-soft bread & not too thick, very tasty fillings. All of the desserts were delicious too, and very light. I really liked the mini scones - one fruit, and one lemon and poppy seed.
We went on a Sunday afternoon, which I’d definitely recommend as we weren’t rushed at all and spent all afternoon (and part of the evening!) there. Staff were very pleasant and attentive.
All in all, a very pleasant afternoon tea experience.

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Birmingham, information was given on where to park as a discount is given to guest when staying in a particular car park, which was a bonus as it can mount up. Looking forward to staying again, staff were pleasant and respectful the building has a lot of history and has had major work carried out. Breakfast great choice for all . (The Grand Hotel is close to St Philips Cathedral )

Went for afternoon tea to celebrate a friends engagement and birthday - was told twice during our 2 hour slot that the table would be needed back by a certain time (when we booked we knew this so there really was no need for the prompt) - felt rushed and not at all special. Wouldn't really recommend anyone go for a special occasion but great for a pitstop drink.

Arrived 28/12/23 a party of 8.wonderful staff service was excellent. Food was great I had the salmon which was mouthwatering. Will visit again would recommend.

Really happy with the service and facilities. It's a beautiful hotel and the staff are really welcoming. Would go again.

If you are looking for a traditional afternoon tea experience this is not the place for you . Quality of food served was not brilliant, bread dry on the outside , scones were small and very dry , not at all enjoyable . Large tea leaves floating in cup , not nice ! All in all not value for money . Very disappointed this place has room for great improvement if only they tried.

The Hotel looked magnificent, the moment we arrived every member of staff were so attentive, the room was fantastic, location great, breakfast was delicious, my only minor complaint was a mishap with our taxi, great value.
