My order was placed via the web site on a Sunday afternoon. The order was confirmed and despatched on the Monday with me receiving the extremely well packaged order on the Tuesday. No-one can complain about that level of service. This was not my 1st order from Whisky Galore and the service/quality could not be faulted on every previous occasion. I've used the The Green Welly Stop to buy my whisky for a few years now and they've never let me down. The prices usually beat other online retailers and if you're patient they nearly always get stock of that special bottle you've been looking for. Delivery speed is first rate and it would take a bulldozer to damage the bottle given how well it's packed in so many protective layers of bubble wrap and cardboard. And I've even popped in once or twice on my way to and from the ferry and they're a friendly bunch in person too.

We loved our visit to the shop a few months ago and needed to restock, it was great to find we could use the online shop to do this. The only fault that could be improved on is a little bit more comunication with how the order process is going i.e. if there is going to be a delay or a stock problem etc. Would not go amiss, but other then this minor prob., a great bunch of folk to do business with and will be back again and again ;0))

I found Whiskey Galore @ The green welly shop due to their extensive range of products and very good prices. The delivery cost was very good too considering the purchases are of a breakable nature. I ordered on the 16th of June, received notifications on the same day and further notification the following day saying the items had been dispatched. I received my order of 4 lovely bottles of Moniack mead on the Thursday the 18th. That is phenomenal service. The items were really well packaged to withstand the journey too. I would thoroughly recommend Whiskey Galore and will be browsing through their extensive list of goodies again very soon, especially for the mead as two bottles seem to have already disappeared :) mmmmmmmm it is just so tasty, yum. Bought on line one bottle whisky checked progress next day logged on to site and found no record of my purchase I thought I must have made a mistake so ordered again then received two bottles oh well I'll just keep them lesson learned

Looked around for the cheapest price for a particular whiskey I was searching for, this was the cheapest place by far. Was a bit skeptical of the price of the shipping but even included was still cheaper than the next best option and it arrived very quickly and was very well packaged. I doubt I'll ever make it up to the actual shop but I'll be checking here first any time I try to buy whiskey from now on.

We have used Whisky Galore a number of times now, generally for 2 reasons, their price is always the best - and is often cheaper than buying at the Distillery - and they have a wonderful selection of whisky on their website, which is kept updated all the time.

What we have experienced each time we have used Whisky Galore is exceptional Customer Service - bottles are wrapped within their sleeves, then wrapped in paper, then bubble wrap before being cushioned in shredded cardboard within the outer box. They have always arrived safe and without damage, and very quickly, the team have even delayed despatch for a couple of days on request when we knew neither of us would be in to receive the delivery.

Overall I am very happy to be a customer of Whisky Galore, and would recommend them to anyone looking for whisky online.

Purchased a number of bottles, mainly in part due to the great promotional prices put on bottles that are unbeatable.

Promotional e-mails are precise, brief and aren't sent too often. Bottles were packaged up and delivered in no time. No additional charges to the North of Scotland also, unlike some Whisky Retailers.

1st class service.

Received a voucher as part of a leaving gift from work colleagues and the website, selection, order process and very efficient delivery service really is unbeatable. Very impressed and would recommend Green Welly to anyone - and should add I am known for being hard to please!

I found the site by chance looking for a Glendronach.
I saw their own special cask and ordered 3 bottles. Came with a free Glencairn glass and even a chocolate that I gave to my oldest daughter :)
S&H to Luxembourg took a tad longer then expected but that can be forgiven when one tries the product.
I will order there again when the occasion arises
