The gym is ok, it has all the kit I need but it is getting more and more over run with underage kids in there, when are you going to start clamping down on this, there’s young underage girls wearing hardly anything making adult males feel uncomfortable, they shouldn’t be in there because they are not old enough.
Something needs to be done about this but I’m guessing you will just give one of your pre written reply’s like you do to everyone.
Also the guest passes that you pay extra for every month never work, complete waste of time so I cancelled mine, tried pressing the help button outside the entry doors which said someone will help you and no one answered. Very poorly run gym with a rude Personal trainer that is always there on an evening.
Vending machines are often out of stock, on a few occasions all 3 of them have been completely out of stock, not even water available, I had gone in the gym with the intention of buying a bottle of water as I’d forgotten mine but couldn’t as out of stock and I didn’t even have a bottle to fill at the water fountain, ridiculous!

Forget this place, far to busy and crowded. Yes they have an app and its always busy. Anything over 50 people and you’re likely to have a very poor session. Its more of a social fitness centre rather than a gym, great equipment, but too many people here to be able to use it to any set routine. You just have to make do training how ever you can, Would not recommend this place for those who want to train seriously, or have a workout routine to monitor progress, You wont be able to do that here. I walked out so many times due to how busy it was, i decided to cancel my membership and go else where. If you just want to do a bit of everything with no real training program, just for something to do, or to say you go to the gym, this place will suit you, definitely not a place for serious training.

Sadly, I’ve cancelled my membership earlier as I was going abroad for 3 months with plans to continue as usual once I’m back. I followed their suggested cancellation policy and cancelled it way ahead. Unfortunately, my membership was cancelled with an immediate effect having paid a full month membership until the end of the month. I’ve been a client of 5 years with no plans to come back anymore. Customer service has been contacted and 3 tickets have been created - no response.

I attend the gym at longwell green, Bristol. I’m an older lady who has lost 71/2 stones. I have lost muscle and fat and needed to have a personal trainer to advise and support to regain some muscle strength . I have the wonderful Alice Bibby as PT. She is absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable. Friendly and incredibly honest and supportive. She is a pivotal part to the continued success of my weight loss journey. Would highly recommend her. She has helped me gain more confidence and so many other things. Thank you Alice. You are the best xx

Far to busy and oversubscribed. Very hard to train every day including evenings with the amount of people in the gym, not sure why people actually try to train here with how busy it is. Have walked out on numerous occasions, Got to be one of the worst gym group gyms I've been to. The area with all machines in smells like sewage, staff non interested in any gym etiquette. Just one curl bar for the whole gym, bars with bearings coming out, this place is crazy, I joined but soon regretted it and will be leaving for somewhere else. Would not recommend this place.

Longwell Green gym- showers constantly broken, new lockers but lots of other lockers broken. People constantly wearing work clothes. Worst its been for a long time

The Gym Longwell Green, Bristol is not being maintained well!

The gym is dirty and unhygienic, Ive complained about this before. Ive been using this gym for 4yrs now 4-5 days a week and it's been getting worse over the years. Free weight area stinks as the soil pipes above have leaked for years, just look up and you can see the pipes and what's on them. Each time the gym closes for few days I think it might get a deep clean but it never does?

Im not joking but the PTs walk around with feather dusters some mornings and dust the machines?? Im serious !! This looks ridiculous and does nothing!! machines need cleaning properly, in-between and behind the machines needs vacuuming as there's filth, thick dust, plasterers, sweet wrappers you name it, its clear to see that a proper clean hasn't happened in many months!

The layout of the gym is badly designed and cramped, you have to give way to other members when loading weights, who's in charge of the layout?

Random new items are added which are not needed such as a massive dumbbell rack with about 10 dumbbells on?? The rack has pull up bars on which you can not access as the rowers are so close and a dip bar which is used to rest barbells against???

I know this is a bottom of the bucket bargain gym but it's awful. Fingers crossed a proper gym opens very close and takes this one out!

I have been going to this gym for 10 years or so and the same problems are still there. The gym facilities themselves are ok, it does the job for what I need. However the changing rooms and toilets are disgusting. They constantly stink of drains and the toilets always blocked. Even in the gym it’s self, they have buckets on the floor the collect dripping water coming from the drains/shower above. Causing a smell in the gym and just a general discomfort. They often move the equipment around to stop it getting dripped out. It’s about time they look at resolving this issue and it’s gone on for far too long now.

So glad I joined this great gym. The Managers and Staff are always friendly and helpful. Very clean. Thanks everyone at The Gym Group 🙂

Loads of graffiti around the building. Let down by a toxic attitude of entitlement by some of the fitness instructors.

Here we go, talk about the success of the company and then increase the monthly charge. Time to start looking around! There's great deals out there

The showers are awful, half of them don't work, the showers that do work have no pressure and the drains smell

Lovely gym! All good equipment and good classes. Staff are very friendly too. I have been coming here 2 years now and very happy!

Classes are great no judgement all abilities involved clear guidance from instructor, great routines always put together

LONGWELL GREEN, BRISTOL.

TOILET SOIL PIPE LEAKING AND DRIPPING NEXT TO LEG PRESS MACHINE.

This has been going on for some time now, the gym is aware of it as they have moved the machine away from the wall where it was located for months. This is not the roof leaking as you can clearly see the build up around the 90 degree bend and it dripping from here. There was a bucket underneath but the last week it has gone and now dripping on the floor creating a dirty stain, stinks in that corner too.

Also since the new year its filthy there, I go six times a week and 4 days ago someone was sick in the sink in the bathrooms, this has not been cleaned and tissue paper and other rubbish is building up on the sink area. The gym needs a massive deep clean!! water bottles, used tissue, mud and grime around lots of machines.

Ive been using this gym for years now and this is the first time its been bad like this. SORT IT OUT THIS IS DISGUSTING.

Maybe they'll be a smart reply from the gym but this is a honest review, Shame I can not up load pictures to Trustpilot

Fab customer service staff are very friendly and helpful. Classes are varied and instructors super involved. Lots of kit and space. My PT Phil is FAB !! Great job The gym longwell green

Amazing gym! Very friendly staff, clean equipment and great classes!

Great gym with plenty of parking, apon entering the gym im greeted with a smile from staff in a very clean and tidy gym, its like this right the way through to the changing rooms and toilets, they have a good selection of classes and equipment for all, would highly recommend!!
