Great Gym
The gym in Glasgow West End is excellent. Not too busy (other than Saturday and Sunday late mornings). Great facilities in good order and clean and very helpful staff and good qualified personal trainers.
The only gripe is the lockers - which they appear to have purchased from a 1970's high school and despite so many people complaining - they fail to replace.

Poor customer service
Poor customer service, taking money without providing services, the never refund if you concel. Poor system they don't inform the customer before the freeze period finish they are just taking money straight away, it's clear they don't care about their customers. Only care about money no matter if customers are satisfied or not. I never recommend them to anyone, other gyms are more flexible and respect their customers much more.

Terrible product and non-existent customer service
Please do not use the Gym Group!
My experience with them has been absolutely terrible. A week after signing up to a monthly membership at the Glasgow West End location and a few visits, my account was suddenly disabled, with no cause and no explanation offered. I have not received a response or explanation after repeatedly emailing customer support. This is a completely unacceptable and shameless way of conducting business and I will not use the Gym Group again and strongly recommend anyone reading this to not use them as well!

I have to say chris mckenzie is an amazing PT. I’m 50 and he knows how to combine his understanding of female hormones and training to get me the results I want. And his nutritional knowledge far exceeds my expectations. Gym space is wonderful and clean - joy to train there!

Well equipped gym and great value
The gym is clean, surprisingly spacious and well-equipped.
The PTs are approachable and have flexible schedules.
The overall value of the gym is excellent - there are other gyms nearby where the membership is over double the price but you don't get anything extra for that money.
Also it's open 24hrs which is great for people with awkward schedules, or when you decide you want to drop in at odd hours.
Would definitely recommend.

Excellent facilities - clean and well maintained - people using gym respectful of Covid restrictions and the continued need for keeping distance and mask wearing - 24/7 access a real good feature if the gym as is free WiF - can't really find fault- keep it up

Vinicombe St gym is a disaster this…
Vinicombe St gym is a disaster this morning. Folk piled in early. Two metre rule totally ignored. People were two feet apart on the exercise floor, which was way over capacity. If this is how customers are allowed to behave, this gym will be the centre of a super spreader event with a fee weeks. It should be closed immediately.

Decent gym with lots of machines and…
Decent gym with lots of machines and dumbbells, just wish they had more than two Olympic benches, as you find yourself having to waiting around until the bench is available which can take a while, for a busy gym they should have at least 5 olympic benches, maybe 3 downstairs and 2 upstairs , would be good if they had punch bags and TVs to watch music videos, good enough gym but lacking in atmosphere.

Very good gym.
The gym is clean and rarely overcrowded. There is an abundance of resistance machines and free weights, and as a result waiting is never a problem. The staff are working hard to maintain the place clean and comply with the safety guidelines.
