I was overwhelmed by the very kind response I had from the Hay Experts. My bunny has dealt with stasis issues her whole life, and being nearly 12 she’s had a number of episodes. During her latest one I was trying to get hold of a product that wasn’t in stock, but I cannot thank the team enough for helping me out on a phone call. Really friendly, caring and helpful. Since switching to this company for my hay supplies, my rabbit’s dental issues have noticeably improved. Even the vet regularly comments on how fresh and high-quality his hay looks.

Delivery is always super fast, and there's always a little free sample tucked in ,such a lovely touch for me and my bun.

I regularly order the hay tester boxes, not just for my own bunny but also for a family friend who rescues rabbits and isn’t able to order online herself. She’s thrilled with them too. Every rabbit has their own preferences, and these boxes are a fantastic way to discover what each one enjoys. My bunny sometimes prefers thick, crunchy hay and other times soft, leafy hay. The variety is perfect.
I wouldn’t go anywhere else for hay.

I couldn't recommend this company more. I have 2 rabbits, and while the female is an absolute angel, happily munching on any hay I offer, my male bunny is the most fussy and spoiled brat when it comes to hay - instead of eating it, he plays with it - which lead us to having 3 dental procedures in a span of a little bit over a year. During that time I have tried everything, multiple types of premium hay, basic and unappealing store bought hay, ordered all hay samples I could get my hands on - nothing was good enough for this boy! So after the last procedure I was on a hay hunt again and I found The Hay Experts. I immediately ordered the samples which arrived shortly after placing an order. I opened the box and was a bit confused regarding the packaging, it was a bit difficult to open as it was folded in a strange way, but I thought "hey, that's great, very neatly packaged, very secure, 5*". The smell and quality of the samples were great. I offered some hay to the bunnies... Success! My boy, sweet, spoiled boy, only 4 days after the dental procedure, still on pain meds, inhaling the hay like it was the best treat he's ever had. I was absolutely flabbergasted and ready to place the order for the full sized bag, but... I didn't know what to order, as I didn't see any labels. So, confused again, I've left a message in the chat box on the website, asking for advice, knowing that I will not get immediate answer as it was Friday evening. I was ready to wait until at least Monday. And here comes Lisa, my saviour from customer support. E-mail from her was in my inbox on Saturday morning. She told me which hay is which, sent a list with links so I didn't have to search for them myself, gave me advise regarding the best hay for dental bunnies and offered further help if any was needed - my issue was resolved in the span of 30 minutes. Few days later Lisa followed up with another e-mail after consulting with the colleague, just to ensure I have all accurate information. She also advised that the reason why I don't see the labels might be that I opened the box from the other side... Was she right? Of course she was! In all the rush and excitement I opened the box at the bottom, didn't notice the label marking the opening side, and embarrassed myself... Not in Lisa's eyes, though! She ensured me that it was not the first time and there's nothing to be embarrassed about, asked about my bunny and was fantastic again. This was by far the best customer support I've received ever, from any company I dealt with. So this evening I placed the order for 2 bags of hay. Of course my spoiled boy had to pick the most expensive one... But, if I have to decide between spending £30 on 2kg of hay, or £500 on another dental procedure - it's the easiest decision ever. If your bunny is not as fussy as mine, you will find much more affordable options on the website - there's great selection there and I'm sure everyone will find something to fit the preferences and the budget. This is one of the situations when the company name is 100% accurate - they truly are The Hay Experts, with brilliant products and even better customer support. I do recommend starting with the sample box to see which one will work best for your little ones - just make sure to open it the right way! :)

This is the first time I habe orded from the hay experts i will definitely order again well packed great value for your money to would highly recommend , thanks guys my rabbit bugs loves it

I contacted The Hay Experts as I had made a mistake with my order. Louisa was quick to respond and to sort out the error for me. I received my items within a few days all was carefully packaged. I would happily shop with them again.

I am hopeless with computers, I phoned to ask advice on what best products to feed a young New Zealand White bunny. Very happy with advice given, Lisa knows her hay. Lisa spent ages on the phone assisting me trying to log in and register, I am the top Computers for the impossible pupil, am totally hopeless, she has the patience of a saint. Contacted about a rabbit with teeth issues and struggling to find hay he would eat. Lisa was so helpful and really understood, she recommended a few types to try and even sent a few samples. One type he got straight into. Thank you so much can't recommend this company enough.

Very quick delivery and great prices. Have ordered several times and will buy from again.

I've bought from them a couple of times and both times the parcel has been packaged with care and sent very promptly. The prices are very reasonable, with good variety of products and the service is excellent. They can definitely count on me being a returning customer.

Great website where I can get products a lot cheaper than amazon etc, happy to wait for the delivery to support a knowledgeable pet brand!

This is just the most wonderful company for bunny supplies. I have had so many good experiences with HE over the years. They used to send supplies to my friend in Denmark to help keep her bunny in good health because she couldn't easily get what was needed. And I've always been super happy with the supplies and good selection over the past 10 years with my bunnies Ludwig and Wolfgang (both of whom sadly passed away earlier this year). I've recently adopted a little chap with chronic gut stasis and his brother from the RSPCA, and HE has been a lifesaver - I placed an order for Fibreplex which arrived the next day, less than 24 hours. The new boys eat so much hay and I'm still learning what quantity is 'running low', so I was relieved that the order for Tim hay which I placed yesterday arrived today. And everything is always so well packaged, with a nice little note. It feels very personal and like HE really cares about their little furry customers.

Only place I could find alfafa hay in South England for my young rabbit.

Relatively cheap considering the poorly reviewed and more expensive alternatives on amazon.

The parcel turned up much earlier than I was expecting and also had some chocolate eggs as an easter gift. So all around good experience, because i love chocolate.

For any guinea pig owners out there, this is the shop for you. Quality products are guaranteed, and I really appreciate how quick and efficient everything is. My orders always turn up with a (working) day or 2 of placing it which is awesome.
And I love checking out what's new in stock as there is always something I want to buy for my boy.
There is also a fantastic range of gifts... the coasters are particularly gorgeous.

The hay experts well what can I say fantastic customer service. Always really good products I had a problem with an order and they aranged a replacement and also free treats came with the replacement that's what I call very good customer service

Excellent company that provide a great service and fabulous products.
I have been ordering many products over the last year for my three guinea pigs. Mine are fussy eaters, there are always some things they don't like, however between the three of them they manage to eat most of it.
The hay has always been of excellent quality and I mix up three or four different hay types and add several of their foraging mixtures to it. Will continue to use this company and can happily recommend them.
