Disgrace

Don’t feel happy leave a negative review, I have no choice but to say I was treated disgraceful.
I bought a German wardrobe in November, I waited for 3 months for it to arrive, I started to call them to find out the updates on it, no one ever gave me a call back, with the last call I had with them, I was told another sweet lie, that the wardrobe will be installed in the end of march, yesterday, I took a day off to be at home, no one gave me a call on the day to say that they would not come and had to take a day off next day to go and take my refund and came across another rude behaviour they did not gave any apology at all!
No one deserve to be treated like this!

BEWARE!

BEWARE! As others have said, Annie and Martin are delightful PROVIDING nothing goes wrong. Their handling of my situation was outrageous, the worst consumer experience I have ever had. This issue escalated as a direct result of their refusal to communicate (check out feedback left by others). They made the whole experience lengthy, unpleasant and it was totally unnecessary. Not even a basic level of Customer Care once they had my money and goods.

From placing the order to getting a resolution was just over 3 months. It took 25 days after my first email for them to reply, not even an acknowledgement. I did not appreciate, after I had agreed to take the goods so we could draw a line under it, the tone or implied threat that followed; charges suddenly materialising for re-delivery and storage 4 weeks after they had, at their request, taken the items back to allegedly try and resolve the issue. Prior to this there was never anything either verbally or in writing to substantiate this claim. The whole episode was only resolved when I sent a “Letter Before Action”, threatening to take the matter to the Small Claims Court. Within 72 hours the furniture was delivered!

In their world you lose all of your consumer rights associated with buying online because they do not hold standard items in stock and try to claim they are bespoke. This was not made clear whilst I was placing the order over the phone. Their Terms and Conditions refer to bespoke, which they amended during this time to include sofas. They still does not make it clear they are including standard specification items made to order. Who would place an order online knowing this? Fortunately I had a printed a dated copy of the Terms and Conditions at the time of placing my order. The definition of bespoke is “personalised to an individuals requirements, differing from the standard, mass produced specification”. They appear to have their own interpretation of what a bespoke item is.

I later discovered there are other suppliers online selling the identical items, delivered in considerably less time and a standard 30 day money back guarantee if you are not happy for any reason.

Feedback on their Facebook page is vetted so it is unlikely you will get a true reflection of their service.
