I wanted to send a friend a couple of gifts directly to her house. I chose some cat bookends and another item. I put in her address as the delivery address, my address as the billing address. I put her phone number in case there was an issue with the delivery. I got an email a day or so later saying the item I had ordered was out of stock. That was the first disappointment as the website had allowed me to order it. Second, the replacement items were then sent to my house and not my friends. I think the website/ordering online form had put my address somehow during the billing process as I am sure I put my friend's address in the form as I had to use my address book to do so. I was quite annoyed to have received the gifts to my own address as I purposely ordered online so I wouldn't have to post the gifts myself. Now I have to spend money posting them to my friend. I won't be using the Literary Gift Company again and I was sad the items I wanted were not available. They should have been taken from the website or a note online saying they had sold out.

Wonderfully helpful and responsive staff. Good quality item, designed, printed and arrived within 3 days.
Worth every penny, will be ordering regularly from them.

40 days later and the order is nowhere…
40 days later and the order is nowhere to be found. Didn't even receive a tracking number and apparently I only receive a refund when the sender receives the product. Which will probably take another 2 months. Avoid.
