I dealt with Theme Forest several months ago for the UNCODE theme. I had to delete it and my WordPress for technical reasons. When I tried to validate my activation key, it was impossible (suppo... See more

I couldn't install/find the demo.
Hello Andy,
Hello Andy,
Good day! This is Carlo from Shopify Support Advisor Team. This is a follow up email regarding your Store Theme concern.
We did not get to talk further about your query, since our chat timed out. As a courtesy, we are sending you this email to extend our assistance and to get everything covered. I should be able to provide context on why you are unable to use that template in Shopify.
Shopify provides you the option to use themes in your store, with the premise that you use licensed ones that are directly installed/purchased from our Shopify Theme Store. We have free themes developed by us, each with the fundamental features you'll need to start an Online Shop - as well as paid themes that provide more complex customizations. That way, we can ensure that your storefront is created with licensed services, created by legitimate Developers.
In your case, you're using a Theme template that's coming from ThemeForest.
ThemeForest, TemplateMonster, ThemeSnap, and the like are considered as External Theme stores/services. These services definitely provide theme templates for sale, but the reason we do not allow them to work on Shopify is because most of the themes in their catalogs are coming from counterfeit or unlicensed themes that they exported and modified to make their own.In case you did not know, Themes are actually intellectual properties protected by DMCA - or The Digital Millennium Copyright Act. That means, you need a license to use these products which basically requires you to purchase the theme license.
If there's anything that you think you needed clarifications on or anything in mind about your business, never hesitate to reach us here in support, we're open 24/7. As always, have a lovely day and thanks for contacting us!
Best Wishes,
Carlo

I bought elementor theme and it doesn't work on Elementor hosting! Why did nobody tell it before I bought it? It is not mentioned anywhere.

Elementor Template Kits are a huge time saver...and the Variety and quantity have been important in my work.

Widget and custumize problems
Widget not working and also when you custumize. I have had two different developers on the project.

I have huge problems accessing help for themes that I have purchased on theme forest. I can't log in (It tells me I have not purchased a theme, when I have the receipt in my inbox) and when I reach out for help I am told they can't help me with theme support because they are only a conduit.
Excellent!!!
False Advertisement - No Return
Your author misrepresented their product and when we tried to get a refund (same day) we have been refused. No online market should be built upon forcing the customers to keep blatantly mis-advertised products. We won't be back if we can help it. This is truly frustrating.
Themeforest policies keep prices high…
Themeforest policies keep prices high due to volume license prohibition. I like using Avada for WordPress themes but, unlike Divi, they don't provide any discount for multiple sites. Avada says this is due to Envato Market policies. I maintain over 100 sites and Avada licenses for all would run over US$7200, whereas a $250 volume license from a competitor would cover them all and more.
Fantastic!
Very cluttered
Very cluttered. Hard to navigate. Had to change code lines to fix problems (for example change footer logo). Do not recommend.
Easy to find professional templates…
