Customer service non existant

They do not respond to enquiry forms and emails bounce back. Products supposed to have a 10 year guarantee but cannot contact anyone to report a fault and ask for a replacement part. These are very expensive feeders and customer service is non existent. Will end up throwing away. Such a waste of money and very disappointing. Do not buy their feeders.

Not squirrel proof

I bought two of: The Nuttery Squirrel Proof Roundhaus Seed Feeder. From day 1 the squrrels got into both of them. I've spent as much money, again, on chains, clips shackles and hooks in an attempt to secure it.
So far it has worked, but now it takes ages to undo all my measures to refill it.
Just get something else. This one's useless.

I purchased The Nuttery’s Roundhaus…

I purchased The Nuttery’s Roundhaus squirrel proof feeder several months ago and it is not squirrel nor large bird-proof and I have photos to show the problems.
I have even tried to weigh down the latch spot to make that part heavy but I have watched the squirrels with one little arm open the latch and spill all of the seed. Another squirrel uses its teeth to pull up the latch and again spill the seed.
Blue jays, starlings and krackles also can reach the seed in the feeder to eat.
I have tried to contact the company to no avail before writing this review and I think this feeder was a waste of money.

Exceptional Service

I have a Helix peanut feeder that is over15 years old. It has now rusted through the lid and base, so I contacted The Nuttery to see if I could purchase replacement parts.
Much to my delight they were able to help and I received them in a couple of days.
Exceptional service and can't fault them.

Excellent but not squirrel-proof (but you can make it so)

Unfortunately the Roundhaus is not squirrel-proof because the bottom of the inner tube that holds the seed is thin plastic. Squirrels just chew through it. You can rectify by glueing, soldering or somehow attaching a round metal lid from a tin on the underside of the OUTER metal frame. I also glued several small pieces of plastic together, glued them to the underside of the tube, and then covered with shiny tape. So far they haven't been able to gnaw through, but it's only been one day. Give them time... Otherwise an excellent feeder. Angled lid keeps food dry, even in wet blowy weather.
