Superb!! First time going there today for Sunday lunch, 8 adults, 3 children & 3 dogs. We were told we could have the table for 2 hours, which was plenty. The service by Jo was outstanding, super friendly with nothing being too much trouble. I was standing outside before I went in with 2 od the dogs and a member of staff who unfortunately I didn't get her name came out and checked everything was OK. We all enjoyed our food, a mixture of Sunday Roasts & burgers followed by various deserts. We ordered 3 doggy roasts and the bowls were full to the brim. There really isn't anything I could fault at all. Highly recommend and will certainly visit again.
I attended The Owl with my Weimaraner dog which is situated in Epping Forest on the 28th, December 24.
I Pacifically when there as it is a dog friendly pub.
I was told that there was a change of management, I ordered some kibble for Chase & I ordered the Chicken & Mushroom pie, when it turned up the pastry had collapsed to one side, the filling was minimal & the flavour was unpleasant, the vegetables that came with it were terrible, the carrots were cut long ways so you had two lumps of uncooked carrots, hard Brockley & uncooked cabbage.
I gave it to my dog 🐕 & he turned his nose up & refused to eat it!
The food was good before change of management & is now Rubbish.
My advice DON'T eat here!!!
