Excellent experience all round!
We did the throwing and then painting sessions. I loved them both. The person teaching us the throwing was an excellent teacher, she supported us through making 2 different pots. I am really pleased with the things I made, the shapes are what they should be and I made them myself. Other similar experiences I've had the staff have interfered so much that the item is "better" but it's not a thing I made myself.
They did help if you asked them, I wanted guidance to correct my own mistakes, another member of our party wanted more practical help and the met both our needs in a friendly supportive mannor.
At the painting of the pots a few weeks later, once they'd been fired, we received really clear information about all the different colour and effects we could use. They then left you to get on, but were always available to answer questions or offer guidance.
