Visited here during a trip yo Cardiff and so glad I did. I ordered the big BBQ platter (plate B) which had Brsiket, ribs, wings, pulled pork, fries, pickles and slaw etc etc.... what can I say, it was lovely! The staff member (sadly dont know his name) was attentive and very helpful. I use a smoker at home so really appreciate good well cooked smoked meat, and this place was very good! No, it won't be as fresh as at home when you pull it straight off the grill, but this is a restaurant providing a good menu and meat clearly made as fresh as possible. For me, this was lovely and a LOT of food!

We visited the Cardiff venue for food yesterday and it was honestly the worse meal I’ve had out in years.

Ceaser salad which is an easy dish was about 4 lettuce leaves and 3 chicken tenders and they charged £5 for what was clearly packet coleslaw.. I also ordered cheesy garlic bread which come out cold and looked like it had been prepared the previous day…

Greeted by Lee upon entry.very personable with impressive customer focus. Served drinks quickly and when we were ready orders taken. Extensive menu. We ordered the ultimate grill to share as it had most of what we wanted to try. Between two of us we ate half. Food quality, flavour, temperature all very very good. All of the meat was melt in the mouth and juicy but not greasy. Wanted to buy a bottle of barbecue sauce but provided with a container with some in. Our remaining food was packaged up for us. Telephoned them when we got home, bank card lost. Lee telephoned back after searching the premises and asking staff if handed in. We believe that this business has high standards when selecting staff as we were served by four very attentive and pleasent individuals. The venue is relaxed and interesting decor. The prices are competitive. We would highly recommend this as a great place to visit as a couple or as a group. We'll done to the smoke haus cardiff crew

Maybe it was because we visited on a Monday. Worst place I have ever eaten. If warm beer and dry, reheated food is your thing than pay it a visit. Waiter by his attitude had heard it all before. Save your money and visit a Toby. They at least serve cold beer!

Best chicken wings I’ve ever had ,crispy skin and sweet bbq sauce with the amazing blue cheese sauce to dip in , followed by the Louisiana burger topped with brisket so full of flavour I could hardly finish it as so much really enjoyed this unexpected treat

Jessica in the Cardiff branch was great. 12 guys on a stag do and she held her own, took no nonsense and the food was great as well.
Can't fault the experience.

Took my daughter for her birthday and the food was awful, chicken burger well over cooked as well as my sons 1/2 chicken, fries were ok and service, but then again the restaurant was empty!

Bland food no taste or flavour service good even the beer was bland

Having visited the smoke has previously we thought we knew what to expect and were lookingforward to our visit. Today however I have endured the worst service I have ever had the misfortune to experience . Rude staff too busy chatting amongst themselves to take our order and when they did take our order didnt put it into the kitchen for another half hour while they chatted amongst themselves and then forgot our drinks . The food when it did arrive was cold and the only condiments supplied were a single sachet of pepper . I could understand this if they were busy but there were only three tables including my family in the restuarant at the time. Zero customer service apart from the awkwardly apologetic barman (he was the only saving grace ) very poor food. I am still waiting for the mayonnaise my child requested

Absolutely love this restaurant (Swansea). Plentiful portions. Food is of a fantastic quality. Have eaten hear countless times and always with out fail leave full and satisfied.
Staff are always friendly and polite. Drinks are always avalible promptly. I can not fault this place. If you like your big meals, you must visit.
