Tile Samples
I ordered some samples to collect in the Blaydon store. The warehouse rang to say one of the samples was out of stock but the others would be in store the next day. My husband went to collect them and was told they had not arrived. We have received no further information from the warehouse or the store - clearly the company does not want our business!

Tiles fine but nothing else!
Getting tiles from here was fine but we were persuaded to order our shower and toilet through them too- this was a BIG mistake! Toilet was fine but shower base was wrong size and replacement (promised for next day but arrived 3 days later) was one which needed a frame rather than legs as requested. Took it back - no replacement - had to buy one online The shower mixer only had one outlet instead of two needed for the drench and hand held which had been supplied and despite us arranging for all our purchases to be brought over to Birtley for our plumber to collect they were still in Seaham. As a result we are into the second week of fitting a small en-suite which would have taken no more than 4 days if everything had been correct and delivered as Tile Shed said it would be. Very VERY disappointing.

Ordered a large amount of 80 x 80…
Ordered a large amount of 80 x 80 crosover grey polished porcelain tiles from Tile Shed every thing went smoothly, they even offered to keep the tiles once they arrived at there store until i was ready for delivery.

First class customer service
Despite ordering on next day delivery more than a week ago I am still waiting for my package to arrive. Very disappointed.
UPDATE** - After writing the review above, a few hours later I received an email directly from the company with an apology and then a personal delivery to my address of my tile samples. It appears the samples may have gotten lost in transit. No matter what has happened to the parcel the customer service I have received since my review has been fantastic. Well done and thank you Dave at the Tile Shed.

I have spoke to the warehouse manager who had confirmed the samples have been despatched, I’m really sorry if they haven’t arrived as yet. I noticed that you are local so we will drop some full tile samples round to your address for you if that’s okay?

Disappointing
Said their were plenty in stock online. Ordered and paid extra for next day delivery. Recieved confirmation email of the order. Didn't turn up the next day. Phoned up only to be told there was no stock and I should have recieved an email but their system is broken. They apparently processed the refund but still waiting for it 8 days later. Hope it turns up thos week or I'll have to take further action.
Edit: Appreciate the response below and email follow up recieved. Refund has now been recieved, thanks. Upped from 1 star to 3.

Yes we have just changed over to a new site and having a few teething problems, keeping track of stock, emails, site speed, prices etc etc. I known this is no excuse but it’s being and continues to be a challenging period.

Being unable to travel in person to…
Being unable to travel in person to view patio paving sold by various suppliers, I was pleased to find that I could order samples (10x10cm) from The Tile Shed online. My three chosen samples were delivered 7 working days after ordering. The parcel weighed 1000gm but only cost £1.84 in total including the samples! Good quality tiles, I would definitely recommend The Tile Shed.
