I used various third space gyms around London but found that the city branch on marks lane was my second home.
What sets it apart from the rest.
All the staff that work there made the place feel welcoming, relaxed and comfortable to train there.
Soho and canary wharf is only 3 to 4 stars but the city branch was 5+
Lucy Shiplee was a Rolls Royce PT… she was relentless in seeing that my health and wellbeing improved vastly over the 3 months I trained there, also she helped my swimming technique too as I’m a PADI diving instructor
Other instructors were helpful too (Dan and Charlie)
The gym itself is first class, it’s expensive but if you use it regularly it’s worth it. Food is pricey thou..
The place was never really full up when I trained there and has far better etiquette than the other gyms I used.
Great swimming pool and sauna and also has a cold pool…
For me the greatest asset in a place I visit is is the environment and the city branch certainly had a very pleasant one. 👍

Kamilla at third space city is awesome! Super helpful at concierge. Clubs are beautiful and huge range of classes

The gym facilities and the staff are wonderful. The reason I'm not renewing my membership is etiquette related. So many sweaty blokes in the sauna jumping into the cold plunge without showering and people watching movies in the sauna constantly. The club haven't done a good at managing this and I still see people in the changing rooms on video calls and it's getting silly now. I hope to re join once they get better at this!! It also took them a month to give me the referral credit! Shame really as its a lovely place.

Been training here for 3 months now, really enjoying the facilities and the classes. Helps me get in the cardio. The staff are super friendly too.

This is a great gym with amazing facilities and really friendly staff. The best gym I’ve ever went to and is amazing in all aspects from equipment to cleanliness.

Great facilities, extremely friendly staff and trainers, lots of classes—overall a fantastic gym. I’ve been a member of a lot of gyms over the years and this is by far my favorite with all that it offers.

The classes, instructors & facilities at City are great. Would recommend 👏🏼

One of my top 3 Thirdspace Clubs. Great staff, clean and has all the classes/facilities of the larger clubs without the busyness.

It's a great gym to do all sorts of physical exercise, has spa facilities, staff are amazing, it's always clean and the location is super convenient if you work in the City or in Shoreditch! Have been a member since 2022 and haven't regretted it a single time!

Great gym, excellent classes and facilities. The instructors for classes are really fantastic. I look forward to coming to Third Space City and leave feeling more refreshed.

Particular shout outs to Kerry Spark, Marie J and Patrick Grenier who are all fantastic instructors!

Absolutely love this gym! I am a member of the city branch. I cannot shout enough about Luke Nolan who signed me up. He has gone above and beyond for me and nothing is ever too big an ask. Fantastic customer service.

Shout out to Amelia for her spin classes. The only instructor who can make me burn over 400 calories in one class & her playlists are insane!

Shoutout to Sarah for her reformer classes. She is so patient and really gets you going!

Also Katie for her reformer Pilates. There’s a reason her classes are so hard to get a space! (Pls can you do more at city so I can get a space)

Only reason I have given 4 stars is due to it getting busier😭. But absolutely love Luke and the instructors!

Hannah is the best PT at ThirdSpace City! She makes every session fun so it goes so quickly, she answers every question thoughtfully and has been boosting my confidence in each session! Hannah genuinely cares about her clients and I'm so pleased I found her! The gym itself is lovely, a little oasis in the city!

I have recently joined the gym and love the large and open gym floor. the steam room/sauna overlooks the pool which i like. at peak times, despite it being busy you dont notice due to the space, would recommend this thirdspace location :)

The gym is fine (City) although small and crowded most of the time. Most annoyingly, they misled me on signing up that I could cancel with a months notice (whereas in fact it is two months). They also significantly increased the fees each year. So in summary decent gym but unscrupulous behaviour leaves a sour taste.

The reception staff were friendly as i entered and left. The facilities were super clean as always and the class i did really pushed me. A very typical visit to Third Space for me.

I’ve been going to Third Space for 2 years now and have loved it. I’ve used pretty much all of the gyms and can say it’s the best gym in London, the staff are all nice and welcoming.

The gyms and spas are so well put together and there are so many classes to use everyday, my favourite is spin at city with Genevieve, her classes are always fun and good energy.

Would recommend anyone joining.

Fantastic gym, slightly on the expensive side but you'll struggle to find better in London.

I used to go to a luxury gym abroad for many years and that’s one of the reasons for signing up at Third Space when I moved back to London, but I’ve had the worst customer service last Friday, when I used my guest passes and brought my boyfriend and another friend to work out together.

A female personal trainer came up to us while we were doing dead lifts, without any greetings and just accused us for bringing an external personal trainer into the gym. In hindsight I guess it was a compliment that she felt threatened by my boyfriend who is just a fitness enthusiast showing us how it’s done!

When I explained calmly, she insisted to tell us off like kids! Thanks!

Well done Third Space for world class staff training and biased customer service. It was shocking!

I didn’t deserve to be treated like that, nor did my guests. She was biased, unprofessional and has no basic manners. I am moving my membership elsewhere.

I was at the Moorgate thirdspace for a 12:30pm viewing. I said I would also like to view thirdspace City too, they rang City for me to book a viewing there. When I arrived the guy said unfortunately we cannot show you around as it’s peak time. So me going there was a complete wasted journey. It was raining heavily so it was not good conditions to be commuting in. The first gym booked me for 12:30pm why was this an issue for the second gym, it if was an issue I should not have been booked for the second viewing so that I had a total wasted journey.
