We chose Thomas Flavell & Sons as they were firmly established and local to us. From the start, we were put at ease in sorting out a new will, Philip listened well to our wishes and explained things very clearly. The new will was put together in quick time and again explained very clearly , prior to the signing. We would use the services of Thomas Flavel & Sons again and would recommend their sevices to others.

I cannot fault her for what was a difficult process made as easy as possible with her speedy, clear and professional communication. Where do we start. Thomas Flavell & Sons were absolutely amazing throughout the whole process of buying our first home. In particular, we had the pleasure having Frannie Simpson as our point of contact throughout our whole journey. There were a lot of obstacles we had to get through, but Frannie was excellent at keeping us well informed, reassured and chasing any queries quickly and efficiently, she really is a great asset to TFS. We would highly recommend TFS for anyone looking at purchasing their first home. We certainly will be using them again in the future!

Please stay away from these solicitors, We came to these to sell our house, right from the beginning, communication has been shocking, not passing on messages etc. constantly chasing them to see what the situation is. We had problems with our mortgage company and wanted to let the new buyers know the completion date so we didn’t get a early repayment fee, this was communicated to the solicitor and wasn’t passed on and caused massive problems, dealing with about 4 different solicitors us just rediculous, Was called about 5 times to confirm completion date, they didn’t verify our details for payment so payment got delayed, which caused problems with other companies. delay in invoice in being sent and having to chase yet again. I will not use them again.
PLEASE STAY AWAY!
No professionalism and considering how much you have to pay them to do the job, which wasn’t done properly.

Could have asked for more, excellent service throughout

Having had my Father and Mother pass away within a short space of time, I was totally lost with what I had to do. Thanks to Zara and the rest of the team they guided me through the whole process showing compassion and professionalism throughout. Zara was always on hand to answer questions and offer support when required.
We were so impressed with Flavells we will be using them in future for all of our legal matters.

We completed our house moved with them 6 months ago and it nearly fell through due to them not sorting out the finances. This was blamed on us not sending them a link (this was sent in August but they lost it). We had very little progress and had to always ask for updates over the 6 plus months it took. They also said a declaration of trust would be included however 6 months on it still hasn’t and my enquiries ignored.
No idea why the estate agents recommended them as we got the impression that their slow progress, lack of organisation and poor communication was normal. Very disappointed that they never delivered everything promised and created extra stress around the completion date.

Great professional service. Matt, Elizabeth and all the team did a fantastic job to make it a smooth effortless procedure. Kept us updated with progress and completed the job extremely efficiently.

We initially dealt with Vijay Singh who was extremely professional and understanding of our situation. He fully explained the probate process to us before handing over the matter to Zara Taylor.
Zara was excellent. She kept us fully informed throughout the process which we’re sure was more difficult due to both Executors living at opposite ends of the country and not being local to Hinckley.
We would send an email at any time of the day and she’d reply almost immediately.
She was very helpful and pleasant to deal with throughout this matter and we cannot sing her praises highly enough.
Thank you also to Hiren Savjani who handled the conveyancing and for finding time to see us at short notice when we were in the area; it was very much appreciated.
All in all we would highly recommend TFS. They are an extremely professional and friendly firm and were a pleasure to deal with.
