Not the best if I’m honest

Not the best if I’m honest. Asked driver to leave huge bag of shingle in a certain place, left it elsewhere. Called to ask for help in getting it moved and super unhelpful and dismissive. Go elsewhere!

Getting knowledge from gardeners who know

Well I am very impressed with Thompson at Sidcup
The range of products they now sell has really improved + their Top soil is very good and well priced.
We now go to that Nursery because also the staff are very knowledgeable and have most of the answers.
Take for instance we were having problems with moss on some of our fruit trees and around bricked areas.
So I asked them how to remove it safely by painting the area with a copper sulphate solution, then the moss goes black and drops off.
Also now they are selling some very good garden furniture

So all in all they are providing a very good service at sensible prices

Garden Centres have become very much a…

Garden Centres have become very much a destination retail experience and due to their nature and location offer a wide range of services in addition to product . One of these services is Cafe/Restaurant facility. in Thompson Chichester the quality of food was very poor when compared with the price charged. I wonder is it so hard to get decent bread (ie not soggy tasteless bread totally unsuitable for sandwiches). Odd fillings. (Sausage with wet onions that make the sandwich even more soggy). Egg mayo that seemed to be watered down mayo with pulverised egg. “Salad” of a couple of Lettuce leaves half a tomato …. I appreciate the cost of raw ingredients has risen but the price to quality ratio is very poor here. Where it should have the charm of an old style cafe. This had the feeling to off. We don’t care . I would have liked to send this feedback to the company direct but there is no seeming way of contacted them on their web site
