disappointing Tiger Rock
My wife and I went to Tiger Rock in Smithdown road Liverpool a few weeks before Christmas and it was amazing. We decided to go again last night (24.01.25) what a disappointment. we ordered six dishes to share, each of the dishes were tasteless, apart from the sui mai's (which were a replacement for the 'tough as old boots' ribs) the thai fish cakes were like rubber. We had hoped that this would be our 'go to restaurant' but instead its become our 'not to go to restaurant' The reviews I've read for Tiger rock are generally excellent, Its a pity that last night they fell well short of expectation.

Great Evening
Great restaurant, lovely atmosphere, decor, great staff and service, the way you order your food is different to anywhere else I’ve been, you select any three items from the menu which has an extensive range of choices, the food itself was very tasty and hot, we were celebrating my sons birthday and the staff brought over a birthday dessert with sparklers in it, which was a nice touch, a brilliant evening I would highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely go again

Tiger Rock Asian Resto Liverpool UK
The food in this resto is amazing. They have Indonesian/Malaysian food mixed with Thai & Singaporean. Price is good, Food delicious, front staff friendly, but server need to work more with the smile. Location very central, dont kno about the parking. I can eat in this resto everyday no problem.
