Back in January, we started looking for tiles for our bathroom renovation and visited quite a few shops over the month. However, once we came to Tile Star UK, everything changed for the better — we found ourselves in the reliable hands of Sol Jamroz.

Sol was incredibly helpful and professional. He not only helped us choose the right type of tiles, but also clearly explained all the pros and cons, which made the decision much easier for us. On top of that, he provided great support in arranging delivery to our flat, and everything went smoothly.

The whole experience was pleasant, stress-free, and very well organised. We’re truly grateful to Sol and the Tile Star team and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and knowledgeable tile supplier.

Tile Star Edinburgh gave us exceptional customer service. We were trying to match tiles and the young chap helped us find a great contrast. He brought lots of options out to us and gave us advice on what would work. Will be back.

Tile star Edinburgh were really helpful and friendly, they have a good selection of tiles and went out of their way to find the right tile for me.

Tile Star Falkirk
Just been to Tile Star Falkirk. Ross was very informative and helpful even though we only wanted a single tile. They also offered to cut the tile to size if required. Thank you so much for your help.

Recently placed an order at Tilestar what a great help the sales person Steven has been through out the whole process to excellent customer service and communication skills the delivery times are fantastic. Also cheaper than any other tile shop I've been to in Edinburgh the shop really is a hidden little gem. Will definitely be ordering again if I'm in need for tiles.

We did not purchase the tiles three months ago. They were paid for and collected on 23rd of February 2024. The return dates are within the three week period. Again, buyer beware of misleading assurances. Very poor customer services/post sales service.

Used the Edinburgh branch once again. This time for my downstairs bathroom. Placed the order with David and Steven and on the Saturday. Received a phone call on the Tuesday saying they had arrived. Very quick delivery time and great customer service by David and Stephen. 5 stars on all levels. Keep up the great work👍

Falkirk Branch
We only needed one tile to make a repair round a window. This was provided and the tile cut into 2 pieces the sizes we needed. The tile and the cutting were both done immediately.

I recently visited the tilestar at salamander street Edinburgh and got a really great deal. The customer service was great and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I explained that I was tilling my entire bathroom and that I had a specific design in mind. The guy showed me some of the products that was closest to what I was looking for. We found a design that I was happy with. I am delighted with the bathroom now that it is done. I wish to say thank you to the staff at tilestar. I will be back.

Visited the Falkirk store in a panic after my original supplier let me down and I had guests coming for a birthday party the following week and only had my tiler due to a cancellation. Jim and his staff were really understanding and helped me choose a better tile for my bathroom which was thankfully availableto take away on the day. First class on every level and really calmed the waters.
Cannot recommend this shop enough. Great service!

Tile Star, Edinburgh
After months of deliberation we decided on a tile for the feature wall in our new bathroom. A tile made by Colorker called Clyde Grey Strip Mix. We ordered 24 tiles and about 80 of a matching plain tile in May 2022. There were issues as by July we were told by Tile Star that the feature tile was out of stock but would be delivered in time for our bathroom fitting in September. Two weeks before the fitting we were told by Tile Star that the tile was now out of production. After a week or so they contacted us saying a customer had cancelled their order and we could get the tiles we needed.
We collected the tiles and the manager loaded them into my car. I then very carefully stored them for two weeks until the tiler started work. The tiler started tiling and when he opened the 3rd packet of tiles all of them were broken! It was obvious that the packet had been dropped. Pictures were taken of the packet and broken tiles and sent to Tile Star. We had been super careful with these tiles as we knew they could not be replaced if any were damaged. Spoke to the manager at Tile Star who said it must have been whoever put the tiles in the car that damaged them or the tiler or me. He was the one who loaded the car and I was very careful as was the tiler when handling the tiles.
Cut a long story short, I asked for a refund of £63.00 for the 7 broken tiles. This was refused initially out of hand then on the grounds that we couldn’t return them as we needed to make best use of them to try to finish the job. Luckily we had two sample tiles that could be used along with the broken tiles to complete the job. Had we returned them then the whole bathroom tiling would have had to be abandoned. It was not possible to replace the broken tiles as they were out of production.
The manager at Tile Star obviously thinks that the reputation of his business is only worth £63 which is sad as he had made good efforts prior to the broken tile issue.
I will be advising as many tiles and kitchen/ bathroom fitters to avoid using this company in the future.

Fabulous service!!! 5 stars from start to finish. Anthony and Dane were so helpful in advice, recommendations, ordering and quick delivery. All the guys working there were so positive, happy and helpful. They made the daunting thought of re-doing a very difficult bathroom full of problems the easiest experience ever. I highly recommend Tile Star in Leith. The prices were the best I have found anywhere. Thanks Anthony and guys for everything!.. especially the extra 1 tile at the end! Recently bought tiles for our en-suite refurbishment. Staff were polite courteous and patient. Gave advise regarding what would be best with regards to which adhesive and grout.
When it came to collection they assisted with carriage to car. Overall excellent service.

Really happy with service received today at tile star Edinburgh. Operator Anthony B was excllent, very knowledgable and friendly. Anthony went out of his way and really helped us with our query which he resolved in a timely manner leaving us very satisfied with the service. Thanks Anthony!

I was in Tile Star a few weeks ago and was treated impeccably well by Christine, Wayne and Jay. They went above and beyond to get me what I needed and were incredibly kind and friendly! Couldn’t recommend these guys enough if you’re looking for tiles this is the place you need to be. They made my day 🙂

Went into Edinburgh branch today and spoke to Mark and Anthony. Couldn't have dealt with better people. Customer Service was excellent, not overbearing, competitive pricing, would highly recommend
