Timber Zone is one of the most trusted wood flooring company in London and provides high-quality wooden floors and excellent services at the budget price.

We love the floor installed by timberzone in our house and will definitely recommend them to anyone. We also done the stairs and love the look, we also ask the guys to do the skirting and happy with it too.

My Honest experience of TimberZone, has not been good at all. The product is marvellous. However, the installation of that product was terrible.

Their claims of professionalism proved as hollow as the floor i have been left with

I contracted timber zone to level the floor, the operative sent to perform this task, thought that the self levelling compound was akin to paint, he tipped it onto the floor and used a very large plastic to spread it around, he did not use a straight edge or a level once! Once the compound was sufficiently dry i checked it myself with a level and straight edge and it was awful - i complained. The gentleman returned with more levelling compound and said he would assist me in levelling it, a further 4 bags of compound were used before the gentleman left stating that he could do no more that day, i used a further 4 bags out of what the man left to get half of my own floor level, i was unable to level the other half as furniture was stacked on it and i could not move the large pieces by myself.

then they came to install the wood, i was told not to worry, everything would be alright, the floor would be level and flat - that was and still remains a joke, as once again the fitters used no straight edge or level once! The finished floor looks absolutely amazing, however, there are large sections of it that are not stuck to the floor at all as i had asked it to be, and it certainly is not flat or level!

Since the floor was installed i have installed the skirting boards and there are large gaps at intermediate points, some as big as 5mm where the floor undulates, comes as a surprise to me when i was told it would be flat and level.

So i raised these issues post installation and with held payment, the owner of the company arrived to view the issues and agreed to send another fitter within a couple of weeks to make good the issues that i had raised, i agreed to pay half of what i owed as good faith, and then agreed to pay the remaining balance once the floor was fixed.

After this 2 and a half months went by with no contact from TimberZone at all, then suddenly an email stating that the man they had in mind to fix it was in England and when could he come, i told them i had fixed it myself.

They agreed that my dealings with them had concluded.

2 further weeks passed and now i have received a letter from a solicitor demanding the balance that i owe in full.

As far as i am concerned the floor has not ever been finished to my satisfaction, and the acknowledgement of a poor installation by the business owner and subsequent agreements of sending someone to correct it and subsequent end of dealings with an apology for the way i have been treated all overturned.

I would not recommend anyone else to use this company.
