Initial disappointment, with the toughness of Ribeye steaks from the Arrebeef supplier, was totally replaced by complete satisfaction with the excellent Rioplatense Ribeye steaks, which we received - thanks to Hixson's special efforts with the courier - just in time for a special birthday dinner!
I cut the roll into steaks of both 1 inch and 1 1/2 inch thicknesses, according to preference and both we and nearby friends found them every bit as tender and flavoursome as we could have wished.
As soon as we have eaten the remainder, we shall certainly be back for more. We might even branch out into lamb and poultry as well!
Apart from the excellent quality of their beef, Tom Hixson's after sales service is most prompt, attentive and helpful - all a customer could hope for and most reassuring with regard to any future orders one might care to place.

Had meat from here before and always top quality. This time the packages arrived open (although not the main cool bag) I have emailed twice to gain some advice on whether the product would be compromised but have not had a reply despite their website saying a response would be given in 24 hours.

Ordered the valentines steak box, didn’t get the chateaubriand got a loin butt instead. Spoke to the useless customer service, in one email she told he that is from the top head end of the fillet then in the next email that it was from the tail end and then she tried to tell me it is what they call it in Argentina! Absolute shocking customer service and miss selling of an item

I had a problem with a previous order and escalated to Customer services. A replacement was sent out but unfortunately DPD were the cause of a further issue. Camillia was a great help and rectified the issue.

Chateaubriand.
Having enjoyed Tom Hixon meats for several years now I was surprised to find that the chateaubriand in my last order was not at the same standard as previous orders of steak. The pieces were very small and on the fatty side which I was not expecting. I don’t think I would order this product again

Found this place by chance on the internet for some of my Christmas meat, the quality was excellent then and ordered some Brisket the other day which was equally good. Will be my go2 butcher from now on
