Garmin 820 battery replacement
23 working days (5 - 15 claimed) to replace the battery. Device eventually returned, new battery, new charging port and 4 dull circles in each corner of the screen. Basically they have knackered the screen and instead of compensation, they have said they'll replace it for £60 !! What a cheek.
Would recommend you avoid these people.

This company, 'Marian' has had my Garmin Fenix watch for nearly 3 months (advertised repair within 2 weeks) and has now stopped replying to my emails.
They have effectively stolen my watch and I have paid them to do it. Please do not use this company or you too will have your stuff nicked. Worst 'company' I have ever used. Beware.

Update--Returned after stating legal action will be taken. Said it was my mount which had been bought 3 days before sending it for battery replacement. Battery was not replaced and had to pay as it was my charger. Do me a favour. DO NOT USE

I paid for a “Touch Screen Replacement Service TomTom Toyota 2” and a battery replacement. After reinstalling the unit, touch worked but the display showed burn and discoloration marks. When I asked for help, Marian only sent a repair photo and said the issue was age related and not part of the job, then quoted extra £60 to replace the LCD.
The listing reads like a full screen fix, but in practice it was digitiser only. I was not warned about any LCD defect before the original repair and I wasn’t offered a practical resolution when I raised the problem, even after I offered to cover postage. If you use this service, get clear written confirmation of exactly what will be replaced and ask for job notes before they proceed. My issue remains unresolved. It’s a joke service and no accountability.

Sent my garmin watch battery be replaced. Watch was received by this company on the 11th July. With several emails to which I have had 1 response. With my last email I asked for the watch to be returned. No such luck. Even called the company to which no answer just a text saying signal issue contact by email. Please do not use them find someone else to fix your items.
An excellent repair service
I cannot understand the negative reviews on this website. I had my Tomtom via 62 repaired (it needed a new battery) and I have nothing but praise for the company. After my initial e-mail enquiry they telephoned me to explain how they operated. After I sent them the device for repair they e-mailed me to say they had received the device. I had been told the repair would take about ten working days. Eight working days later I received an e-mail explaining what had been wrong the device, an invoice and a note to say the device was ready for dispatch. I paid through Paypal and the device was dispatched later the same day. It arrived the next working day. When I checked the device it was undamaged and working properly.

Absolutely awful customer service - do not use.
They have now had my Garmin Edge for screen replacement since September 2024. It still hasn’t been returned to me. It’s now June 2025.
In the meantime, despite me following up numerous times by phone, email and text, I got zero response for months on end. No updates, no apology. Nothing.
I have no idea when, or even if, I’ll ever get my Garmin back, fixed or not.
Deeply frustrating. It feels like a big mistake to put my trust in these people.

I had a Garmin Fenix 6 watch that stopped working that was very old. Garmin wanted £160 for a similar replacement and I reached out to Satnav specialist to replace the battery. Easy to do, cost me £40 including special delivery. The employee Marian contacted me with watch issues and I replied, she responded very quickly, like within an hour. Also sent me detailed photos of the watch, definitely very professional from my personal experience I have the watch back it is working fine, saved me having to spend a couple of hundred on a Garmin Fenix 7. Only reason I am giving it 4 stars is the ad said similar to most customers get their items returned within 2-5 days, but it can take up to 15 working days. I did have the watch back within 10 working days, but it took the edge of it. Overall, yes they I will use them again if the need arises. Thank you

Excellent communication, I was a bit wary after previous negative reviews however my experience was very positive and Marian kept me updated with the repair at all times.

Unfortunately I have had to update my positive review from the 22nd April 2025 to a negative one.
I had been told from the outset that if my unit couldn't be repaired then it would be returned for the price of postage however despite many requests by email, Marian failed to provide me with details of return postage for my Garmin S6.
My unit and charging clip have not been returned as promised and I don't appear to be the only one this has happened to.

Had problems with the mount charging port of a Trucker 6000. Could not find a new mount anywhere, so took a chance, paid 30 quid.
Sent the mount last week Saturday, and got it back the Wednesday the following week.
Plugged it in and hey presto it worked perfectly.
I have another mount with the same problems. Will send it in for repair after Easter.
Had a battery replaced in my NextBase…
Had a battery replaced in my NextBase dash cam which had a failed battery that no longer held charge. Decided to take a chance given some of the other reviews. Sent it off and got back emailed comminication that they had received it, then that they were looking at it, then that it had been repaired and posted back. Plugged it in and it works great, so no complaints from me.
