Booked an airport pickup which was confirmed before I left for the holiday. Received a call while waiting for baggage to say that the driver could not come because a section of the M25 was closed. This was a pre-planned closure which I had known about a few weeks prior. I was told to find a taxi at the airport which I did and had to pay £100 more than the price Tonbridge Taxis had agreed. Upon checking on google maps, the road closure only added 20 minutes to the journey so why couldn't Tonbridge Taxis meet their commitment?

I booked an airport run 1 month in advance which was confirmed twice.
But I was never picked up or notified that that I wasn't being picked up.
3am and I'm waiting and nothing.im calling the driver and the company and still nothing so because of this I miss my 6am flight.
Don't not trust this company to pick you up or even help you in anyway.so if they give you the driver moti refuse immediately

Seems not turning up despite 3 confirmation emails and no reason given is common. No response at all to say why nor to apologise. Why is this company in business.

Didn't show up. Called them and they just laughed. Far more reliable services in Tonbridge

Terrible taxi service didn’t turn up as booked. Then when I phoned them said the email confirmation said I should have phoned to confirm which is not the case. 1 star. Chap I spoke to wasn’t helpful.

We use tombridge taxis often we 100% recommend they were so kind and very helpful. best taxi we ever took we felt very welcomed when we came in the taxi! Kevin was very helpful definitely has lots of experience in driving thank u Kevin! ツ

SCAMMERS & BULLIES. Tonbridge Taxis, especially Kevin, are scammers and bullies. I organised a booking 3.5 months in advance and had the quote agreed in writing. I contacted the company several days ahead of the booking date to confirm, and received confirmation. Then, less than 24 hours before the agreed pick up time, I had a call from Kevin informing me that the price had doubled from £180 to £360. He did not apologise, admit any mistake on his part and repeatedly demanded that I phone another taxi company to check their prices. He called me several times and belligerently spoke at me, cut me off and spoke over me any time I tried to speak. He was aggressive, rude and generally unpleasant. Unfortunately, at such short notice, I had no choice but to go with the alternative offered by Kevin at £250 - still £70 over the original price which had been agreed in writing and which Kevin refused to honour.

On the day, Kevin refused card payment. When I followed up the next day requesting an invoice and payment details, I received a barrage of calls from the “manager” who was, like Kevin, aggressive and rude and went on to make threatening remarks, despite my repeated requests for payment details.

I strongly suggest NEVER booking with Tonbridge Taxis. This is by far the worst transport experience I’ve ever had in my life and it seems from other reviews that I’m not the only person to experience such behaviour. Absolutely appalling.

I use this company on a weekly basis. I like that they are good at keeping time. Kelvin is my favourite driver, he makes the ride enjoyable with interesting stories.

I book my taxis with Tonbridge quickly and efficiently via text message. The drivers are always on time and are their rates are very reasonable.

We use Tonbridge Taxis all the time. The service is 5*. Best taxi company in the area.

They’re always reliable, friendly & respectful. And, as a woman, I also feel very safe using their services.

Trip to airport very early am and they arrived 5 minutes late but did text to let us know. Return trip booked and confirmed by email but they didn't show and answerphone on all numbers. Waited for 45 minutes and then had to take airport taxi. Apparently there was a "discrepency".

Do not use. Took a booking on Friday for a Monday 7am pick up. 7am comes and goes- no taxi. Called them and they said driver had forgotten or hadn’t been notified of the booking. DO NOT USE.

Avoid.
You make a booking and get a confirmation but that does not mean you have a booking. Basically a scam company.

Cancelled our airport transfer whilst we were already on holiday!!! Terrible service and utterly ridiculous. Would not trust to use them for an airport transfer.

My husband and I use Tonbridge Taxis regularly for airport and other trips. The drivers are always friendly and really reliable. The vehicles are also very clean. They’re also very reasonably priced. I’d definitely recommend the company.
