Before choosing a provider, I did a lot of research into different weight loss surgery companies. I compared services, reviews, and especially aftercare support. Tonic stood out to me straight away because of their strong reputation for ongoing care and patient support.
I chose Tonic for my weight loss surgery journey and I’m so glad I did.
From the very beginning, the team were professional, supportive, and easy to communicate with. They explained everything clearly, answered my questions, and never made me feel rushed or judged. As someone who was nervous and had health concerns, this meant a lot to me.
The pre-op process was organised and reassuring, and after surgery I felt well supported. Any time I had worries or needed advice, I was able to contact the team and get help quickly.
Since having my surgery, I’ve seen real changes in my health, confidence, and quality of life. It hasn’t always been easy, but having Tonic’s support made a huge difference. I finally feel like I’m getting my life back.

Tonic is the no.1 weight loss company. FACT. Right from the start, Lydia co ordinator was amazing and so friendly. I got to see my options in a calm manner. There was no rush! I chose my surgeon, Dr Alkhaffaf and didn't I pick well! My gastric sleeve in Jan 2025 went amazing! Tonic aftercare team were and have been fantastic and so supportive! Id never go with anyone else! Absolutely want to give my honest review.
I had an on line teams conversation with Dr Sandip Hindocha to talk about what surgery I was looking for and tell him a little about me and also find out about him. I felt really comfy and drawn to this surgeon.
Next stage was a face to face meeting, I showed Mr Hindocha my arms and other things that bothered me.
We had a good chat of what we felt he could achieve and talked about options.
Again I felt happy, confident and felt a connection to the company.
I was offered a date and given options and full honest prices.
I opted for Hale Private Clinic for my location.
Had a pre op and visited the clinic which I loved.
Op day, felt calm, felt happy and met my surgeon and team and got all marked up and ready for surgery.
Surgery went like a dream, I had an extended arm lift and breast uplift.
I stayed overnight and was really looked after. They got me good healthy food from m&S and checked up on me all the time.
I had a great night and was discharged at 7am with all my meds and paperwork.
Both Tonic (the lovely Bex) and Hale clinic and Mr Hindochas private secretary (Lisa) have been in touch daily to check up on me, They have all been amazing and I can’t fault the after care and advice.
I have been back after a week for my wounds checking and Mr Hindocha came to check on me whilst Noni changed my dressings. Everything looks ok,
I go back again next Tuesday to see if I can remove the tapes.
I cannot recommend all aspects of this plastics journey enough.
I’m so happy with my arms and boobs so far, and when the swelling goes down I will feel even happier.

Iv just had a breast augmentation and the whole experience im so happy with and can’t thankyou enough to the surgeon Kavish Maheshwari how happy i am and the after care Iv received has been amazing too always thier to help and can’t do enough for u so happy with the results.totally recommend this company amazing and thankyou to all the team within the office too.

Absolutely first class customer service x treatment throughout. All options discussed x no pressure whatsoever. Extremely professional x always responded to my messages within a couple of hours. Very experienced surgeons made me feel in safe hands throughout x answered all my questions. Extremely good aftercare package x support throughout. From initial contact to the ongoing support after, outstanding. Melissa was my first contact, she reassured me with what Tonic offered. The conversations with the surgeon, Albir the dietitian, Harry PT and all the amazing staff at Oaklands hospital. My regular check ins with the most gorgeous nurse Rebecca, so helpful and supportive, always feel so good after my telephone call. Surgery date was 12th January 2026. Best decision I’ve made for a better quality of life going forward

I had surgery with Tonic 7 months ago and it was the best decision I have made for myself.

From the initial informative enquiry, to the pre and post surgery support, to the actual surgery I have zero complaints.

I feel extremely supported and although I don’t often ask for help, I know it’s there for 5 years if I ever do which was one of the reasons I chose Tonic above other providers.

I has gastric sleeve with Tonic in January 2022. From the initial enquiry, I felt at ease ad there was never any pressure to proceed, purely supportive conversations.
Everything was handled sensitively and smoothly.
I liked that Tonic had steps in place to ensure psychological readiness to proceed and the after care package was fantastic.
I went on to lose 10 stone and have never once regretted my decision.
As soon as I am ready to, I will likely proceed with skin removal surgery via Tonic too.

I've struggled with my weight on and off for years.
I made the decision to have a gastric bypass and I seen tonic on the web,I give them a ring and spoke to the lovely lydia who went through everything with me. I was then contacted by the surgeon Mr simon dexter for a telephone consultation, Mr Dexter is great he put me at ease and went through options and decided on bypass.
Had the bypass in January at the Nuffield in Leeds,this hospital and staff were great aswell.
You will struggle to get a better surgeon than Mr Dexter great guy.
I've also had great after support from rebbecca the tonic nurse who rings with advice and check how I'm doing.

I found Tonic through a recommendation of a lady I met on holiday. I looked into Tonic myself and found good reviews.
From the start of my enquiries through the run-up to my surgery, which was during Covid to continue support throughout Covid until my surgery could take place to be in years down the line. I couldn’t fault the care, compassion the after support I have received, from every member of the team from receptionist to support Team to the nurses and surgeons, it was absolutely fantastic A class care. Having the online support group also is a massive help throughout your journey.

From making that first intial call the whole tonic team have been fantastic,and very suportive, not pushing you into making hasty decission at all, before and after care are brilliant and never mind you calling for advice,the nuses(rebecca) has been brilliant, i had an unrelated medical issue and called me sometimes 2 and 3 times a day, dietition, phycotheraptist( cant spell it) and the exceptional .mr.currie, and harry (PT) they are all just a call away and always make you feel like a friend, i am 12 weeks PO and 3 stone lighter, its not always about the scales, i have lost 37 inches and 2 dress sizes smaller, my arthitis is a lot better, i have more confidence, getting in a pla e seat and feeling more comfortable was a great feeling,

Tonic were great, start to finish. Kept me updated every single step of the way, taking the worry out of what was the beginning of a very big journey. Aftercare is second to none, everyone was brilliant and continue to offer support even now I’m two years post op. My results have been fantastic, I’m now 13 stone down and living a life without restrictions. Thank you so much

From the day I contacted Tonic and spoke to Lydia, I felt like I was speaking to people who cared about me in the long term. It was not about money for them!
Having given me time to make my decision, and book my surgery well in advance of the date, I had exemplary contact, information and engagement with nutritionist, psychotherapist and nursing staff. This literally blew me away!
My stay in hospital, care team and Surgeon, Mr Alkhafaf, and the entire theatre team made my surgery a completely straightforward and calm experience.
The aftercare team have since been exemplary! Nothing seems a problem to them, they are on had to answer my questions and never make me feel like I’m bothering them!
I will admit, I have one regret, and that is not finding Tonic sooner!

From making the first enquiry to a year after surgery, the communication with everyone has been fantastic. From the dietician, PT, surgeon, nurses etc it’s been incredible support. I managed to loose 8.5 stone in 4ths after having a gastric sleeve surgery with Tonic. It’s completely changed my life, I’m happy, healthy and have a new found confidence.
