Extraordinary Customer Service, I made several phone calls to customer service over a couple of days as I was looking for a lawnmower , The girls were cheerful , friendly , helpful and very efficient , I never felt pressured , no one tried to sell me anything , ( which made me keener to buy !!!) just really helpful , finding answers to my questions , I cannot fault them. I then ordered my chosen mower on a Friday afternoon , I almost fainted when it turned up the next morning !!! It has proved to be a really fabulous machine , I'm just super impressed with the whole experience with this company

I needed a ¼" Bosch router collet
I needed a ¼" router collet for my Bosch AdvancedTrim Router. I'd already trawled th usual suspects and not found what I was looking for so looked here (by chance), found a genuine part easily, placed my order, got notified it had been picked and it arrived the next day.
DHL delivery failures
I made the lawnmower purchase with the promise of a two day delivery. DHL were the carriers and that company failed 5 times to find my highly visible house bordering a busy main road. On each day DHL said it was due to failure at the door step, implying the fault was mine. This is lying - we waited in each day. On its own websites one delivery was shown as out delivery whereas another part it showed the attempt had been cancelled some time earlier. Tooled-Up could not sort out the problem with DHL.
I cancelled the order the after fifth failure and asked Tooled-Up for an immediate refund as I had never had possession of the goods. It took three phone calls and a week to get the money back.
I can’t believe DHL could make such a hash of a straightforward delivery. The first delivery was scheduled for 15th Juy; I got my money back 26th.

On the 18-07-2025 I ordered online from MyToolShed a Bosch cordless hedge trimmer, Bosch Easy grass cut cordless grass and edge trimmer & a Bosch cordless Li-ion battery 6ah. Received prompt confirmation emails of my order that they we being packed and dispatched to courier (DHL). The hedge trimmer arrived circa 1pm on the 22-07-2025, but not other items so phoned the enquiry number to check on order and spoke to their back office which is obviously based in London (based on accents) easy to talk to and helpful said they would check on the items not rec'd ; unfortunately the second two items had been missed off (they were ordered in a separate order to the hedge trimmer so obviously a slight glitch. The next day I got an email from customer service at Tooled-Up (all part of the same company I believe i.e. Lee Industrial) apologising for the mix-up and advising that the remaining items would be dispatched asap ; I then got the usual automated emails saying that the items were being dispatched and one from DHL with tracking number remaining items were delivered by DHL circa 10am 24-07-2025. Obviously a slight glitch at the warehouse but what made this purchase hassle free was the ease with which I could contact the company by phone talk to someone and the resulting speedy resolution and the emails sent by them to keep me updated. Advice to others if your ordering multiple items don't check out your basket until you have selected all your items you'll save on postage, (I bought one item then decided to look for other items hence the two orders). Also I found My Tool Shed to be the most competitively priced for the items I bought. Based on my experience I would buy again from this firm and would recommend to others.
Bosch tools for my gardening …
I use a selection of Bosch tools for my gardening. Tooled-Up carry an extensive range, and the guys are very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to help me building my personal 'toolbox' collection. Thank you, guys :)
Poor customer service & communication
As a previous customer, I placed an order as everything was showing as in stock on the website, some small items were dispatched i.e. a charger & an adapter but the main tool a chainsaw was not, I had to email in to ask when it would be delivered, was told 5 working days after, fine so I waited again no further communication so emailed in again to be notified it was now a pre / back order item and not due for another 7months. They Would only refund the amount for the chainsaw so had to pay the £7.95 delivery charge for a £55 charger & adapter not ideal as I then had to buy the chainsaw again from another supplier who shipped the saw out next day & with free delivery.
Due to their poor customer service and policy’s this was a complete waist of my time, I will not be using this company again, this could have been successfully resolved very differently.
