I can’t seem to respond to the comment on my previous review.

But , my vehicle is booked in for the 17th of September ( not 16th) as that was the first date was I given in July with or without a courtesy car.

You could have accommodated the vehicle sooner if you would accept it via recovery vehicle so it was kept on site ready for the appointment date. It may not have been seen any earlier but would have been there if something came up. The recovery is being arranged and paid for by Peugeot care but Toomey’s will not accept the car any sooner then 24 hours before the appointment.

So I have had months of paying for a car I cannot use , ridiculous appointment dates from Toomey’s , refused being allowed to recover the car earlier to the site and now have to try and get time off work mid week to be available for the recovery vehicle a day before.

So thanks very much.

Don’t believe the response from Toomey’s as they could have helped more than they have.
(I’m sure this does not apply to every member of staff within the whole of Toomey’s) this applies to Toomey’s Southend

Brought a brand new tiggo8 summit had the for 3 hours and a ELK failure come up when I spoke to chery regarding this they told me to bring the car in, in a few days time! I ended up taking the car back the next day and it’s been there ever since.. they still don’t no what the problem actually is with the car! Although I’ve decided I want to reject the car under consumers right act 2015.. the after sale team is none existent and any question you have after signing for the car you might Aswell talk to the brick wall because they don’t actually reply to anything.

❌❌ Chery Southend what can I say I purchased a chery Tiggo 8 summit on the 24th July 2026 and it was back to them the next day with a fault so I am using my consumers rights act 2015 but Chery and the finance company are dragging there feet and denied my consumers rights act 2015 with no real excuse I have a family and they have left me non mobile for nearly 4 weeks now I would advise people to stay well clear of this company the care they have for people it's disgusting STEER CLEAR ❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌

Just had my car serviced at mg Southend and had amazing service from Sarah makin who is a real credit to the service team, Sarah was friendly and polite, and kept me informed as the car service was going ahead, thanks again Adrian and pauline

Toomey’s of Southend very helpful gave me a great deal went away feeling good for my purchase of a new Cherry TIGGO 8 Hybrid

Robin was very helpful. Took my Arkana in for a service and Mot. We had a query regarding the car heating
Robin looked up my car and noticed we had an extended warranty which saved us the diagnostic fee.
