Smooth and trustworthy experience

I recently had a really positive experience with Top Right Car Centre. From the moment I arrived, the team were welcoming, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable about what they do. They took the time to answer all my questions without any pressure, which made the whole process feel relaxed and straightforward.

After purchasing the car, I did come across a small issue, but I have to say their aftercare was just as impressive as the initial service. I got in touch and they dealt with it quickly and efficiently, keeping me informed throughout and making sure everything was sorted to a high standard.

It’s reassuring to deal with a dealership that not only sells quality cars but also stands by them and looks after their customers properly. Overall, a very smooth and trustworthy experience — I’d definitely recommend Top Right Car Centre to anyone looking for a reliable car and great service.

Avoid, avoid, avoid!!

Just do not buy from them. The MOT you get wont be worth the paper its written on(mine passed with an engine warning light on, TPMS sensor not detected warning, heat shield hanging off, pitted brakes, yet passed with no advisories???). They will say it has a full service history but it wont, the last service was actually 4 years ago, apart from an oil change oddly by their mates at the mot garage 3 years ago when the car wasnt even in the area ( on a bit of A4 paper in the service record). When you take it back once you find out its not road worthy they will say they have put a refund through but it never appears. It took 2 weeks and a threat of small claims to get a refund.
Save yourself a lot of hassle and money and just avoid them

Collected my new car exactly as…

Collected my new car exactly as described travelled around 300 miles very nervous but they made my day. I must say when I got to there the staff was very welcoming and friendly. Even the owner made me a coffee. Will recommend to everyone!

Well after seeing the reviews and being…

Well after seeing the reviews and being 300 miles away I was a little cautious but spotted a car which these guys had that looked good, well what can I say the pictures and video of the car didn't do it justice the car is immaculate inside and out and runs a dream! Syede returned the car to audi main dealership before it was delivered as he noticed a recall on it I was kept well informed on delivery and what was going on by Paul, customers service was first class and live updates on the delivery of the car for peace of mind I would highly recommend this company and buy from again

recently had a fantastic experience with Top Right Car Centre and couldn’t be happier with the service I received. From the moment I walked in, the team was welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful. They took the time to understand what I was looking for, answered all my questions clearly, and never made me feel pressured at any stage of the process.
The entire experience was smooth and stress-free — from viewing the car to finalizing the paperwork. Everything was explained in detail, and their transparency gave me real confidence in my purchase. The vehicle was presented in excellent condition, exactly as described, and ready on time.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY! there is nothing “top” or “right” about this car dealer!!!
The warranty does not cover existing faults on purchase of the vehicle!
They badly fixed a car and sold it to a family member.
DO NOT GO THERE!!! It costed my family member hundreds of pounds!!!

2nd time of contacting Saeed

2nd time of contacting Saeed, just had car to garage to check knocking noise when turning . Advised that the front suspension looks damaged, so going in next week for extensive check,what chance of it being covered by the policy that they stick on all their cars. Bet it’s a big ZERO. I know what he will say, it’s happened since I bought it but please check car for damage ,big ZERO for me. I was wondering why there was no MOT 2024 and also why there was no log book when bought, protection against purchaser checking with previous owner. When I received V5 from DVLA , again blank. Reading other 1star reviews this would appear not be an uncommon situation, perhaps he buys all his cars from scrap dealers .
I’ll have my money back as I’ve lost all faith in car especially as I am dependent on reliable vehicle for medical reasons. Why did I not get my copy ofMOT, did it point out deficiencies. No wonder he runs top range car himself. Bit of honesty please, if you know meaning of word, what did you pay for Suzuki.

Bought a LR Freelander on 28th Nov

Bought a LR Freelander on 28th Nov. Finally got to pick it up on 10th Dec with the Sat Nav still not working. Parked it on our drive and discovered immediately that the handbrake didn't hold at all. Phoned Syed who said bring it back. This is despite having a PDI with a clear tick showing handbrake had been checked. Next day tried to start the car with no joy. Phoned Syed who said he would come out with a new battery the next day between 11 and 12. Of course he didn't. Then when we finally got him to answer his phone he said maybe 4 to 5. We finally bought a new battery but sadly that wasn't the issue. Called RAC who got the thing started and followed us back to the garage. It limped along to just outside and gave up. RAC thought problem with fuel pump.At this point we asked for our money back. We had already paid to have a new timing belt and water pump fitted. RAC diagnostic check found an issue with the camshaft position.We did finally get a refund . Apparently when Syed does a bank transfer it takes a week, unlike when you pay him it is almost instant. Of course he took off his "admin fee" of £150, kept the £70 worth of diesel we put in and tried originally to say he wouldn't refund the money we paid for the timing belt. He left his employee to deal with us, communicating via him by phone. I would not be confident the other tasks ticked off on the PDI were actually done. My advice would definitely be go elsewhere. This car was not roadworthy and the amount of hassle we have had to get to the refund point has been ridiculous.We also found out when we phoned DVLA that we had never been the registered keepers as the paperwork was not done. We have lost a month's road tax, £70 worth of diesel,£150 admin fee and the cost of a new battery which we did take back from the car. Just to be back where we started in November.

Bought a VW off top right car centre…

Bought a VW off top right car centre the whole experience was a disaster just a complete parcel of lies from start to finish the supplied the warranty information booklet but the warranty didn’t exist any repairs were.met with the reply that the parts were on order this went on for several months in the end I was told they would contact me when the Parts arrive just another lie the best thing anybody could do is keep well away from these lying cowboys They are part of a group of companies with a local bodywork repair facility whoseem just as bad more later

Cowboy Outfit

Bought a fiesta st from here. Within days I had problems. Tyre pressure light came on then the engine management light came on. The near side wing mirror wouldn’t retract. Went back and they said they would order a new motor for the mirror and to return a week later. Went back spending £8 on petrol and £5 on the tunnel to be told they hadn’t ordered the part yet. I also needed the air pipe fixing and then the near side window wouldn’t go down fully and there’s a clanking noise on the brakes. That was all over 4 weeks ago and despite messaging the dealer constantly he just ignores me. Cowboys who don’t even bother wearing masks. Gave me a 12 month warranty that I wouldn’t wipe my arse on. They’ve got the £8800 I paid for the car and couldn’t give a shit. Steer clear of Top Shit Car Centre.

Reluctantly I must leave a negative…

Reluctantly I must leave a negative review here. Without test driving (I live in West Midlands)I bought an N cat Nissan Duke VA17 XFM on 6th May, I was assured by the salesman that it had been professionally repaired, a walk around video confirmed that the air con was working, a particular concern of mine, and that it was in his words ‘nice and chilly’. The car arrived a week later and it looked perfect inside and out and I was thrilled with my new purchase. I drove it to the petrol station and it was apparent that the air con didn’t work, quick trip to get it re-gassed revealed that the Condenser radiator, (which was completely bent, bracket had dislodged and pierced a hole in the condenser so the air con could not have been working as no gas. The radiator fan was jammed and not turning and all bolts holding the condenser in place at the bottom were missing, other bolts had been glued into place. Photos prove my point. No V5 or MOT certificate was supplied and the Warranty was not activated. So none of the usual ‘admin ‘ was done. The Pre-Delivery Inspection Report did not match the car supplied, notably the ‘coolant system level and condition’ was certified at checked and signed by the salesman. As I was clearly mis sold this car the business owner kindly agreed to take the car back and give me a refund. I am shocked and disappointed to find that the owner of Top Right Car Centre has charged me a £250 admin fee. My consumer rights are clear that there shall be no admin fee charged.
So Thankyou, (business owners name removed at their request), not only have you supplied a faulty car to me (the salesman informed me that it will have to be repaired before being sold on) but I have been without a car for 2 weeks while delivery/collection was sorted. You have charged me £250 for what? You performed no admin.
I’m a retired lady, i am not a demanding customer, I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but this is simply shocking behaviour by a ‘family run Company’. So disappointed. What are you going to spend my money on business owner?
Update 10th October 2025 - I still have not received my refund of £250 ‘admin fees’
