1 eternity later…

Haven’t received my Assassins creed MTG products I ordered one of each item and it’s been nearly two weeks since release day. I have spoken to a few of the team at total cards and get told they are still awaiting stock. This is my first time ordering from total cards and maybe my last. I don’t know how they will make up for this but something needs to be done because I am soo disappointed. Something like this just isn’t acceptable

We understand how disappointing this experience has been for you, especially as this is your first order with Total Cards. This is not the standard for our business.

The delay was due to unforeseen issues with our suppliers, who only delivered the stock this week. We have shipped out as many orders as possible with the stock we received.

I can confirm that most of the products in your order have been shipped. The remaining product will be sent as soon as it arrives, which we expect to be very soon.

We understand that this situation is far from ideal and deeply regret any inconvenience caused. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we are committed to making improvements to prevent such issues in the future.

Laughable situation for a TRADING CARD company

It's honestly laughable that a company specifically dealing with card games has managed to over allocate stock resulting in pre-orders not arriving on time. My husband and I spent hundreds pre ordering star wars unlimited booster boxes only to find that they didn't arrive on the release date.

This was one thing but the worst part is there has been NO COMMUNICATION from the store / customer service to explain this. Everyone in our friend group who pre ordered from this site hasn't received their boxes, noone received notice via email of delays and everyone who reached out to the live chat service received the same "supply issues" response. I'm sure this particular company will appreciate how unacceptable and disappointing it is to be behind everyone else on a release day and the lack of information and transparency has been ridiculous. We were told stock was due on the Friday we should have already received our boxes, when the order did not update we had to reach out once again on Monday for an update which has now changed to stock being due "within the week". The way they're trying to blame this on suppliers when they have clearly overallocated and are now waiting for additional stock is disgusting.

Definitely won't be using this site in future for pre orders or regular orders. Completely let down in service and communication alike.

We are sorry that this release of Star Wars did not meet your expectations. We ordered and were promised more stock than what we received, which was less than 50%. Unfortunately, the allocation was determined by the suppliers, and this is beyond our control.

We apologise that your order did not arrive in time for the release. We were supposed to receive the stock before the release date and dispatch it to you accordingly. However, the suppliers' couriers delivered it only yesterday. We have fulfilled as many orders as possible with the stock allocated to us.

We regret the lack of communication and appreciate your feedback. We are committed to improving our systems to ensure better and more streamlined customer contact in the future.

We apologise for the shortcomings in this release of the SWU products. We will continue to strive to prevent such delays in the future. Please understand that any future allocations will also be determined by the suppliers.

Both orders quickly received

Both orders quickly received, items very securely packed so they don't move around and get damaged. placed both orders within days of each other as they were the cheapest for these items

Total cards are a great company…

Total cards are a really great company to use when starting a collection. They have a wide variety of items to choose from with prices that are more than generous!
Personally I buy Pokémon cards and I've never had a problem with the products.
They are always packaged well and arrive quickly, I could not recommend them more! 😁

Pre ordered item never arrived

Pre ordered an item and they've oversold item as they're response is that the have supply issues.
This is the third time this has happened on pre orders for me

I won't be using total cards again, and I wouldn't advise anyone else to pre order with them.

The shortfall is due to the manufacturer not producing enough items.

Not recommended for pre-orders or buying products likely to sell out.

I wouldn’t recommend this company for pre-orders or anything that is likely to sell out or an item you want that might be time sensitive. Their dispatch is slow and not guaranteed from release day and if they send you the wrong item you have to wait till they receive the item back until you can get the item you paid for. The customer service is lacking as they do not put customers first, even if they made the mistake.

I finally received my pre-ordered product 2 and half weeks after the release date. But of course by this time the product had been spoiled online.

This ruined the product I purchased as it was advertised to have a secret card that you could reveal once completing the game. It was a great concept that I was excited to experience, so I preordered the product to ensure I had it as early as possible to avoid spoilers and I had planned an evening to play it with friends, which was pointless when the item didn’t arrive in time.

The first week no items arrived or any dispatch emails, so I emailed customer service and was told they were still waiting on delivery. However, no one thought to email me to let me know there was a delay with delivery. Then I receive the parcel a few days later. So I thought all good, these things happen. But I opened the parcel to find the wrong item. (a cheaper item was in its place) I messaged the customer service, and waited the weekend for a response (as expected). Monday morning 9 am I get a response to say they will get an investigations team to look into it and get back to me. I then get a response at quarter to 5pm saying that I need to print a postage label and send it back to them. (They don’t send the postage label so I have to wait till the next day before I can even look at getting it printed.)

I am upset because I feel like they spent the day working out if I was lying to them or not. Because surely you would just say “sorry for the issues, how can we fix this for you” as a first response. Not spend a whole day (further delay) to just say I need the product we sent you back before we do anything else.

Although I had asked for a way to receive the item quicker as I had already waited a long time for the item. (I honestly thought they might say if you purchase the product we sent you by mistake, we could send you your other item out today, or just we’ll send yours out as soon as you have proof of dispatch or something). I was told there was no way other than sending it back and waiting till they receive it (because I agreed to their terms and conditions by ordering the products as stated on their website) and then my ordered product would be sent. I felt my product I had ordered was held to ransom and they cared more about themselves. I just feel like I was not a valued customer but a transaction number. Which is funny because if they had been more considerate, I would have ended up purchasing more.

Also be wary, as I don’t think the claims on their website are correct. They claim you receive free items but I did not receive any free items for spending over so much, (I had spent the best part of 100 pounds) so I think this is something they used to do but not any more. Also, Their customer service is not outstanding or unsurpassed and they don’t put the customer first. (As stated on there website) is:
“Act with uncompromising honesty and integrity in everything we do”
Provide outstanding unsurpassed service to our customers
Providing industry changing service which constantly places the customer first.
Offer excellent value for money and focus on saving the customer money.

But sadly they do not follow their own ethos, as stated on their website. It’s average at best. I just felt disappointed with the service and regretted pre-ordering from this company.

Regarding the dispatch delay, we apologise for the lack of proactive communication about the delay in receiving the stock. We are currently working on improving our communication processes to keep our customers better informed in such situations.

As for the issue with the wrong item being sent, we are still human and mistakes can be made, we follow a procedure to ensure that such mistakes are rectified properly. This includes investigating the error and requiring the incorrect item to be returned before sending out the correct one. We understand that this process can be frustrating, especially when you were eagerly anticipating your order. While this policy is in place to protect both parties, we appreciate your feedback and will review our procedures to see how we can make them more customer-friendly.

We are also sorry to hear that you did not receive the free items you were expecting for spending over a certain amount. I have looked and can see that these are not on the invoice so they were not added, this is something that pops up when making the order to add

High-quality service + preferential prices + perfect batch submission of estimates

Submitting cards in bulk is a perfect choice. In the long journey of collecting, there will be many common cards that are not in the collection list. In the Total Card team, they work hard to appraise bulk cards so that players can have a beautiful virtuous circle~ I like Total Card very much, their high-quality service and patient attitude. Even if my English is not good, they will explain to me carefully and help me pre-order the products I like. Most of the products in the store are much cheaper than those on the market. I see happy smiles on everyone’s faces😊Thank you!

Beware of total cards, please do not buy from them.
They are now paying for reviews.io who are using old deleted reviews from people and that doesn't include the bad (truthful) reviews of these people.
