Failed pre-order launch.

Failed pre-order launch.

This was my first time using total cards for a pre-order and I still haven't received it or had any confirmation of when it will be sent out for delivery. Pre-order was the 11th it is now the 15th.

Highly unlikely I will use this company again unless they improve drastically.

Legal action, missed preorders and the rest

The have previously threatened legal action as first course of action over their mistake sending me someone else's parcel.
More recently, they are constantly missing preorders (Obsidian Flames) and move other preorder dates without warning (Vault X binders). Both times making sure they still take the money first then provide no meaningful updates.
There are so many better friendlier companies out there.

Slow to dispatch

Unfortunately, as with a lot of other customers, a pre-order for Obsidian flames is heavily delayed.

Price point on items is good but any time i’ve purchased from totalcards there has always been some issue with my order causing a delay.

Failed pre-order launch

Preordered a lot of Obsidian Flames stuff a over a week before the launch. When checking up on the order on Thursday I was told there was a slight delay but they might be able to honour the order, and if not they will change the delivery to a weekend delivery so I would have it on Saturday instead. On Sunday I realised the cards were again not going to be coming on time despite them claiming to have them in stock since Friday, so I asked for a refund request which took 24 hours for them to honour. First and last time using this company for Pokemon cards, having a slight delay is one thing but not only has this apparently been a common issue with preordering pokemon sets through them, they seem to be unable to fulfill the orders even if they did get the stock when they expected as the orders are several days behind now. I wouldn't be so annoyed if they just told me they couldn't honour the order for Friday or Saturday or even Sunday so I could get a refund and order from someone else, but now I've instead been waiting for days for nothing with very little communication on the problem, where as it they were honest about the issue I probably could have just ordered the cards from somewhere else on Thursday and got them on launch as I wanted. Don't bother wasting your time with them, they are completely unreliable.

First time ordering from here

First time ordering from here, after hearing good things, however when pre ordering a new booster box I was sent an email letting me know of its delay. Being very excited for the release day and same day opening.

I've seen many other people online express their opinions on the same issue and would recommend other card sites (e.g. Magic Madhouse.)

Absolute Joke Of a Pre Order Experience

Pre Ordered Obsidian Flames To Now Have still not received it 4 days after release and no sign of it turning up anytime soon

I've used Total cards before for in stock products and got great service, however will not be using them again, absolute joke to Pre Order an item to get it on release date, to receive no contact until after lunchtime of the release date, that customers wouldn't be receiving their orders, no information on when it would be dispatched, no compensation offered, nothing

Blamed it on a delivery issue to them, but very weird other companies received theirs days ago and were able to fulfil no problem whatsoever, hopefully will receive tomorrow or I'll just cancel my order and go elsewhere, as I will anytime going forward

Pre ordered Pokémon booster box, last Wednesday 9th August, no update on where my order is or when it will be dispatched. It's the last time I'll ever pre order from this site.

Pre Order Non Existent and Poor Customer Service

First time ordering from this company and wish I didn’t. They draw you in with low prices but can’t deliver. With most pre orders you expect it to be delivered on release date or the next day.

Receive a generic email on release day at mid day saying the stock only arrived to them that day and it will be delayed.

Firstly why wait till midday to send the email? If it didn’t arrive the day before then send an email out to customers first thing

Secondly email says “We are just reaching out to give you an update on when you can expect the delivery of your Pokemon Obsidian Flames Order with us.” The funny part is that they do not say when I can expect just that it’s delayed

Lastly emailed them to ask when it will be dispatched so I don’t have to stay home and wait everyday for a delivery not to turn up. Surprise no response like the other reviews

Giving the company till Tuesday to respond and then cancelling the order

Just wished I paid a bit more and I would have been enjoying the launch rather than here empty handed

Will not be buying from them again

Pre-Order delayed

In the past I have had mixed experiences about product being despatched on time and the latest one has topped it off.
I almost didn't preorder the latest Pokemon set, Obsidian flames, with Total Cards because of past experiences of delays getting the orders sent out.
I personally expect a preorder to either arrive or be despatched on release day but even on the day after release day, no despatch notification.

In summary, when the orders do arrive they are well packaged, I just wish the orders arrived sooner.

My first time ordering from here

My first time ordering from here - and I was extremely excited to be ordering a new booster box and etb that I’ve been waiting ages for to be released. The day of release arrived - and nothing. I received a email saying the order was delayed due to shipping at there end- I can appreciate a day or two late- but now there’s been no communication, no response to messages - I feel Iike it’s just a big scam- there are a lot of other customers on Facebook who also haven’t received any orders or dispatch notifications. They have spoiled this release for myself and many others - I’m cancelling my order and requesting the money back and I won’t order again.

Unreliable

This is the third preorder that Total Cards have missed and with the same lack of communication (generic email Friday afternoon to say they can't send stock) then nothing. When you reach out to customer service, they are polite and apologetic but don't offer any timeframe on delivery and ignore any specific questions you have.

It doesn't matter whether you spend more to upgrade delivery either, those who do are clearly not prioritised.

Four days after their competitors sent out stock, I'm still waiting to hear when the products will be dispatched. If you can't honour pre orders, fine, just be honest and say so in advance and give people the chance to cancel their orders in advance.

If you want pre orders anytime near actual release (the point of a pre order) then do yourself a favour and use someone else.

Five days after it should have shipped they still can't give me a shipping estimate, so at the third time of asking, they've thankfully cancelled.

Absolute waste of time.

Ordered an Obsidian Flames Booster Box over a month in advance ready for release day. Messaged two days before release to ask if there were any updates to which I was informed that their stock hadn’t arrived. I then contacted them again the day after to ask if the stock had arrived. They confirmed it had and as an apology they’d upgrade delivery to Royal Mail Saturday delivery and ensured that my paperwork had been checked personally and that the order should go out for the weekend.
I’ve now checked to see for any updates and unfortunately I’ve had no dispatch e-mail and so I won’t be getting my order today.
It’s really not good enough and Total Cards should be getting the stock in a lot earlier to prepare for release days. They did something similar to this when Silver Tempest released (Another Pokémon set from last year) where I just kept getting told my order was delayed so had to cancel the order entirely.
I thought I’d give Total Cards another chance after Silver Tempest but they’ve basically screwed up again.
Poor service, false assurances, disappointed customers.

Im disappointed honestly

Im disappointed honestly, preordered the obsidian flames for a recent stream i planned TODAY because i was assured on the website these will be shipped out. So, the day comes and nothing has been dispatched so i get in contact only to find out today that there was a delay. as a small streamer i am not sponsored so all this comes out of my own pocket for the entertainment of my viewers and today i couldnt deliver on that.
So, i was fine with waiting another day and got assured i’ll recieve them on the day after release. Thats fine, i let my viewers know. Even got promised by them my order will be coming however its now close to 7pm and no dispatch email, my order stuck on processing so of course i’m gonna have to wait until monday.

This is my first time using this company as i usually order from somewhere else but it was sold out. I saw the reviews and thought they would be perfect but this is my first and last time using them i’ll just have to preorder things sooner in future.

Next day delivery

Next day delivery - preorders to arrive on release day - non existent. Moved over to total cards from chaos cards as they use DX delivery which takes up to 2 weeks to deliver, to then come to this where on release day 5pm when offices is closed - order still not dispatched.

I understand i am not priority customer who would spend couple grand, but also for me 240£ is a lot.

Not to mention i cannot log into my account after email change & still unable to see my other preorders - as 0 comfirmations has came through. Also will be unable to trace wether they are dispatched neither.

Jus like today - 3 times asking in chat if its been dispatched and if tracking is available - sat and wasted whole day in house - to then at 5pm receive response that my items havent been dispatched. Meaning my order (which meant to be delivered on release day - today) probably wont come til end of next week. I also made clear statement on 3rd question as felt ignored - that if its not dispatched - i want my order cancelled all together.

NEVER AGAIN will i be pre-ordering anything from this site

Also i would appreciate if ypu would stop spamming peoples emails. Just opened a page - and shortly email came through that you would love me to come back and buy something. Looks more like desperation to do sales, yet cannot even fulfil your false promises.
